For those has upgrades they i780 to windows 6.1'then you all making a big mistake..just like me.i have upgraded it'and so many problem comes up with this phone,..the software problem so annoying even its 6.0 either 6.1...this phone has great feature but bad performance..the windows software makes battery low'all the time.ive sell it,and back to user friendly nokia..

where can i download free themes 4 my i780?i saw in youtube some people have diamond style theme...n' i'm still wondering..does i780 really have 624mhz processor?coz i think mine's kinda slow..thx..

When this happens press and hold the 'OK' key plus the touch pad at the same time for about 5 seconds problem solved.

n is there anyone who had a problem with d mouse...sometimes,don't know why...d mouse act unusual,like (on d real mouse) we clicked d left button all d time..it kept mark everything..n i must do double click 2 click on all programs,files etc..can someone help me with this probs...coz 4 me it's so annoying...i have 2 restart my i780 over n over again...sorry i'm a newbie...thx..

Help guys. My problem with i780 is screen visibility during bright outdoors. But there's no quick method of setting it to maximum brightness. Thats why im looking for a software that will quickly set it to maximum brightness with just a push of a button or any quick method. Is there any?

shahadat, 28 Apr 2009dont try to do the same mistake like me. I have try to upg... moreI've got an "upgraded" to 6.1 version, it works great at all times. If it does not work after upgrading, you must have done something improperly. Why not "hard reset", and have the center do the upgrade for you. My i780 does work really great.

When i go to messages and say copy to sim, the messages appear copied to the sim. When i removes the simcard & put it in another phone, the messages are missing. Whats the solution for this?

hi, anyone here knows the turnaround for this error message that is showing everytime i try to change my ringtone or alarm tone, it says: "ringtone file corrupted"
Please please please help me!!! i dont want to change my samsung i780. i love this phone so much, im just having trouble with the ringtones lately.

If your unit is not having version PDX???, don't flash to WM6.1 especially the modded ones. You hv to go to Samsung Service Centre to upgrade to WM6.1.
Anyways, WM6.1 ain't that great. The only major difference I can see is the GPS units will lock faster.

If anybody is interested in disabling the annoying shutter sound of the camera. Download a "windows mobile registry editor"...here is a direct link(copy & paste to your browser)

Then follow this instructions
Edit the following REG Keys:
[Mobile Device\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Samsung\Camera]
EndSound=3
ShutterSound=3
StartSound=3
And with that there should be no more sounds It's so easy to do this, I did it in 10seconds.
