Hi ive bought this phone since march, sounds ok
but i got kinda difficulty with contacts,in very old Symbian u could simply change the labels of each contact detail, but here they stupidly forgot to include this option!!!!
another thing is not supporting other scripts/languages WInDowS mObiLe really freakin SucKsssss!!!!
i think OMNIA HD might be much better. with a good OS and much greater CAMERA :)

The meaning of 16 million color(65k effective) is that this phone OMNIA II supports 16 million color but it also supports 65k color specially when your in Daylight the color 65k will still appear but eventhough the 65k color is there, the 16 million color Amoled display is still at the top specially when its nightime you can see the 16million color Amoled dispay on this phone OMNIA II just like the Samsung Jet.

Even your using the keyboard in rotate mode the letters are still the same my suggestion when your using the keyboard on rotate mode just presss the Caps twice to make it big letters but if you want only it big in the begining of your word just press the Caps once and about your second question how to used the songs as your alarm ringtone just follow my steps:
Step 1: Go to Touch Player
Step 2: Go to All Music
Step 3: Choose the song you want to use as your alarm ringtone
Step 4: Go to Menu
Step 5: Set t first as your ringtone
Step 6: After that Go back to Clock
Step 7: Go create your Alarm
Step 8: Select a Alarm ringtone again which you will see below the Sound Profile
Step 9: Now you can see the song you want to make as your Alarm ringtone

When capturing a Bizcard my suggestion try turning off the BizCard Automatic Capture by going to settings bec. when your using BizCard Automatic Capture when capturing a Business Card you cannot hold the camera steady thats why it cannot capture the business card properly and just follow my steps:
Step 1: Go to Smart Reader
Step 2: Go to settings
Step 3: turn off the BizCard Automatic Capture
Step 4: try capturing a real business card but turning off the BizCard Automatic Capture is that you will be the one to capture the Business card ok my friend.

I saw a video that Samsung Omnia 3 will be running on Windows 7 and the style of the phone is pretty much similar design of Samsung Omnia i8910 hd except the middle button(which is MENU on Omnia hd) will be Windows Menu(has logo of windows). I believe Verizon is the who will be releasing this phone, but no specific date yet when they will be releasing it. Check the video:

Actually already I set my phone (in Items on today) to samsung widgetplus & there were not OPTION in world clock menu,but when I changed setup to normal( no widget plus & no win default)& I tick marked just Date ( top of choises) I cuold did it. My phone is winmob 6.5
Anyway thanks again & now I have one more question:
camera can't fucos clear in macro mode,for example for bizcard always I have truble.Already I had several cameraphones & they did it very well.I am waiting for your help & sorry for my delay in reply.Have a nice time !

Question for Samsung4Life:
When I rotate phone during message wiriting (big keyboard appears), it does not automatically capitalize first letter after the point but when I write message in normal it capitalizes... Why? Also, I mentioned that it's not possible to choose a melody for alarm that I want (for example a song), but only those that come within phone. Why?

I heard some handsets are blackberry-compatible, thus the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) can be installed. Do you know if the OMNIA 2 is a blackberry-compatible handset?

I can't delete the phone's previous settings of IDEAS MMS & IDEAS WAP.. can anyone help?? whenever i want to download, it starts connecting with IDEAS WAP which is not my country's setting...but I can browse with my setting except downloading..

Mine lasts 2 days with: 2 hours voice calls, 5 sms,1 MMS, 1-1,5 hours surfing the net(reading news,posting on gsmarena :) etc), vibrating profile. I know this 'cause I paid attention because I was curious :D Oh, the thing that I find annoying is that the battery's charge time is too long ! (3 - 3,5 hours!!!!)

Wow! I have to say for handling, style and useful features I have to give the Omnia2 a big 10! I'm very hard to please when it comes to phones but this one has come damn near close to everything I require. I am a bit nervous that in a few months, something will blow because there is so much packed into this. Thanks for influencing my decision GSM.
Okay, First question is about the UI not consistently going to Landscape view when in messaging mode. I did a hard reset one time which gave it a band aid fix for a day or two but no more effective than just turning the phone off/on. It's really weird how it seems to decide to just not operate any longer.
In a quest to rectify, I downloaded a reg edit program which allows me to be able to change the values in the registry(Dah!) but the instructional purpose of that was to be able to toggle it manually. The assigning a button to do it part was a bit vague. So I'm no wiser and yes it's okay right now but on auto but I expect it not to last too long. Can you throw any light on that? Oh, in my research, i understand the Singapore models (where I got this one from) are gaining a rep for this quirk. Any basis in this.
Second question. My previous i780 had an indicator light which would notify of unread messages etc. when in sleep mode. Can't remember if the Tytan 2 did but my old 412 would definately let me know by a repetitious sound. Because the Omnia has no indicator light for such moments and my search has revealed no hidden settings for email/text messages beyond the first notification, I wondered if you could offer any alternatives for some kind of repeat notify? I miss so many messages. Thanks mate. Sorry about the fly blown approach to asking this. Appreciate any help

May someone who bought this mobile tell me how many days he/she enjoys using this mobile before the next charging of battery.
I hope the AMOLED display doesn't drain the battery quickly.
