And about the upgraded applications lag, I think u should go to modaco site to read their opinions, there r plenty of opinions about this phone....
As for me, it's just everythings smooth for me especially the touch sensitivity, much smoother than omnia 1....

I know that it has been discussed before but I want to buy this phone, so tell me, does it lag or not!Because some say that it does and others say that it doesn't :|I read that it lags if it runs on winmo 6.1.I also read that even if u upgrade it to winmo 6.5 SOME apps lag.What app, to be more exact?Pls details(answer only if you really use/used it - not if u touched it in a shop). Thank you!

Here's some guides how to set the DMY, first go to the icon clock, second click World Clock, third choose first what location are you from by clicking new after that click the search after that click the location of the country/place were are you living from after that click done then after that check or mark the set as homeclock then click done, after that again click that place you have chosen after clicking that place, click the date, and there you can set and changed your DMY after setting the DMY click done and about the google maps you can install any google maps you like just go this site www.mobile9.com and find there your google maps you want to install in your phone OMNIA II.

1. Your number one question if OMNIA II w/ 16gb has the same pocessor with Samsung Jet my answer is yes! bec. Samsung Jet has 800mhz cpu processor same with OMNIA II but Samsung Jet doesn't have OS windows mobile bec. OMNIA II has OS Windows Mobile.
2. Your number two question if this phone OMNIA II with the winmo 6.5 can work with 16m colors my answer is definitely yes it works with 16m colors with winmo 6.5 but when your in a Sunny weather the effectiveness of 65k color will still appear.

there's nothing to do at your RTSP Proxy setting and my friend try to chnge the Select network to Internet and your you sing wifi to connect to You Tube videos using streaming player? bec. me i'm using wifi to connect to You Tube videos using streaming player and why is it that your streaming player is not working? my suggestion go to the store that you bought your OMNIA II and tell them why is your streaming player for your You Tube videos is not working and maybe the problem is your phone OMNIA II bec. the settings that I gave to you is the same settings on my streaming player and my streaming player is working well with that settings that I gave to you and about the digital frame just go to Photo Folder after that click the 100SSCAM then choose a picture on that 100SSCAM you want to used as your digital frame then lick Select after that your picture in the 100SSCAM will apear on your digital frame.

Have u heard about Skyfire browser? try to download it. its much better than streaming. It can play youtube right on that browser. got it? and about the photo folder, mine is also like that..just wait a few seconds and the pics youve taken will appear eventually..it sucks right?

How about on RTSP Proxy setting anything to do on that?
one more thing about my digital frame application.
it can't show the picture event i already set the photo folder to 100SSCAM (my memory card picture folder). any idea on this?

2- do you know if this phone with the Win mobile 6.5 can work with the 16M colours of the screen, or it still uses only 65K?

Please edit your specification about the OS of this OMNIA II it must be like this OS Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, upgradeable to Windows Mobile 6.5, Windows Mobile 6.5.2, Windows Mobile 6.5.3 bec. OS winmo 6.5.2 and winmo 6.5.3 are compatible with this phone OMNIA II... thank you

Guys...this phone is an excellent piece but I am disappointed that I still had to use 6.1 because the 6.5 upgrade is not available for India where guys r already talking about 6.5.3....Samsung should seriously think to make the upgrades available globally...
