Please can you advise if 6.5 is the current windows software for this Omnia or is there a update like 6.5.2?

The phone I would say was great.. and Is great...
first time I bought it it was super amazing with all packed features....
The Winmo OS is not running slow at all!!
the only thing slow is the Samsung UI which cover it..
but that's why Winmo is great...
If u own a symbian and it sucks, so it be..
but winmo, you can manuever.. =)
So I dropped the samsung UI, cover it with SPB mobile Shell.. add this and there...
the applications on the market are amazing..
U can visit samsung omnia community or xda-developer..
And u develop ur very own handheld..
I can even function the secondary camera of which unfunctional out of the box..
Now it running super fast, super productive, great design (thx to spb), great camera, perfect media player, stylish..
nokia, or apple seems so powerless...

if any one can advise about firmware Omnia II. I bought Omnia II in Cambodia but want to update firmware ? in website only in UK available update firmware . how in Asia ? if GSMArena csn confirm ? that will be appreciated. so can we update from Samsung website from uk.samsungmobile.com ? THANKS

approximate half price of i phone 3gs!!!!
but 2 times greater feature then i phone 3gs!!!!

Is this it from now on??,,out comes another touchscreen and every single one is rubbish,,whats the point anymore???
Every firm is just pushing out rubbish unfinished devices all the time..Are buttons ever going to appear again,,clamshells too? or is this it forever now?? What will happen tommorrow and next week more touchscreens will come out and be rubbish..It really feels like the end and all cause of that stupid i-fone..

I have a friend in UK and they don't dump Samsung phones especially this phone OMNIA II and if you rate a phone by its winmo, then you are not a good buyer, and my friend look at the specification of this phone OMNIA II it has lots of features and tell me what's your phone? maybe your phone is ugly that's why you are just jealous that you can't buy this phone OMNIA II and my word to you if you don't like Samsung phones is that we are not forcing you ok! and don't post here bec. your not much help at all and we don't need you here... thank you

Pl help. Anybody knows how to delete the date of birth that is once entered by mistake. I want to say that I DON'T WANT TO CHANGE THE DATE BUT COMPLETELY DELETE the date of birth how is that possible. pl someone who has tried help me.

install it ,it will ask u for restart,don't do that instead go to the setting /system/multilingual support in control tab make your choice( English with Arabic enabled)then restart your phone :)

Many of the Samsung Omnia 2's end up on Ebay in the USA and the UK as they dump them to sell on to any gullable buyer as they are very bad to use and to own . At least some fool will buy one of Ebay so to cut the contract costs right down .

A very bad phone as the OS is over covered by samsung OS many phones have been returned due to OS hang problems and call cut offs, the recent update made things more complicated. stay away as they are far better phones with half the price tag.
NO Windows Seven upgrade for current users ,Samsung have already drooped this phone from there 2010 line up like a hot potato.
