Does it exit some web pages automatically when its running short of mem because you have 4 apps open all @ the same time?

it's more more and m... moresir, iphone is a great phone but when it really comes to features you have to really compare it carefully and you will see that samsung and htc would outclass the iphone. though others would say that iphone have many support system that you can download on but since the samsung and htc are already on windows 6.5 you can do also the same.
i do agree with you of buyers looking at brand first rather than features. its a marketing strategy.
wait for the i9000 that should be 1ghz and htc obsession which is 1.3ghz and will come already win7.0. technology is really fast nowadays that your pnone will be outdated in less than a year from your purchase :(

amazing great phone by packed all the good features.omnia i8000 has been beat already its compititer like i phone 3gs,htc hd 2,nexus one,n97/n 900 &omnia hd also.
The only problems its some laggyness,but it is rectified by upgrade by 6.5 & rom improoving.omnia i8000 is also rom improoving quality,thats why samsang all in one......

I already bought Omnia 2 and its really an amazing phone.
Also today I went to the service center and upgrade my windows mobile from 6.1 to 6.5. I though before that windows mobile 6.1 is similar to 6.5 not a big difference but i got surprised windows mobile 6.5 is greatttttt... its faster then 6.1 plus design is better..
So when you buy the omnia2 let the service center upgrade it for you... Even if you leave it 6.1 its a great phone but if you upgrade it, it will be exellenttt..
Omnia 2 is better then any other phones until now....

I have this phone for 8 Months now. The original ROM was a bit laggy but now with new ROM the phone is so fast no complain at all. The good thing about this phone is that it is a WinMo and there are lots of tweaks you can do with WinMo. I'm not sure why people are comparing Omnia II to iPhone, iPhone sure is fast the reason is it has no interface at all it is a basic interface unlike on Omnia it has a heavy interface with good Style and Design. Omnia can be a work around phone. Good Internet speed, VOIP capable, Good Quality Camera, Good for business and entertainment. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is not upgradable to WinMo 7 but overall it is a good phone. Touchscreen are sensitive so use it with care! Market Place are already growing. cheers to all Omnia II Users!

what i m trying to ask that is there any diff in ram or rom or memory card limitation or perfomance if i buy from omnia singapore & not from india ? i know that since india donot have windows ms 6.5 proff.

I think my Omnia II 's main problems are:
1. Scratch NON-resistant surface: I had iPhone before, no scratch remain on it! Samsung must provide screens with this feature.
2. WinMo has always lagged to execute. BUT RINGTONE problem is so severe! 0 to 3 second the ringtone volume is very low after that it increases automatically BUT I set my i8000 to "vibrate and ring" not "increasing ring". It's so funny that if you set "increasing ring" your GT-i8000 (Omnia2) only rings very very low!!!!

And now I regret to sell my Omnia II.
it's more more and more far better than the iPhone.
That's why Omnia II called 'all in one redefined'.
But,I don't know either, is the Windows Mobile phone will stay more longer in the market or not, because Android now starting to take the market all over the world. And I'm really curious with the Android phone, I think Android phone will have a bright future, probably? lol
Anyway,I just use the iPhone for 10 days,and it has so many disadvantages.
Poor camera,no multitasking,no delivered message notification(probably there's an apps that can give us a delivered notification,I don't try to find it yet either).
I was so confused,why people were so crazy with iPhone and iPod? I agree that the sound is very very clear,and I'm just discovered that the record of the Voice Memo was very clear,a good one actually,BUT..
if we put it in a high volume,the sound was very bad,neither with an earphone. (for the musics quality,not the voice memo)
I agree that iPhone has a great sensitive touchscreen,cool graphic design, I'm totally love it sooo much.
And it has lot of apps,it has VERY VERY GREAT entertainment,BUT...
I think,when people gonna buy iPhone or iPod, what they see FIRST:
the 'Apple Brand'

they take a look at the features.
Everything has advantages and disadvantages.
That's all I can say abou iPhone (I'm using iPhone 3G)

phones fan, 26 Mar 2010some people use windows mobile 5,6,6,x since long time as p... moreprobably you are right...im not into pda..different people have different requirements...as for me,it all about simplicity and performance...those were the days of pda..now everything is mixed up...and no one phone has everything excellent in their functions...so we look for something that the future can offer...thats just me....currently using nexus one...and on comparison...omnia 2 amoled provides sharper details then nexus....

guys dont i repeat dont buy any touch screen phones from samsung at-least.i hd a pixon 8mp phone and a samsung omnia and guess what??after a certain period the touch screen stops functioning and worst thn tht whn u call up a samsung service center they delay the replacement of ur product even thoug ur in warranty...honestly dont go for a high end touch screen phone from samsung about other companies i cant comment but with samsung its a complete no no..
And i pity people who compare An iphone with sum junk phone.Dude sum 1 whoz tech illiteratewont like an iphone and prefer sum crap to it.iphone stnade apart in looks,class,features,applications etc.Ask samsung,nokia,sony to have a fast SEARCH inbuilt feature thn will tlak further

The good part of Iphone 3GS is the speed (is better than the laggy omnia II). The touchscreen of 3GS is unbeliveble and the last but not the least is the applications available for Iphone, there are more than 2 billions of applications for Iphone (they celebrated the level of 2 billions app for iphone in January), for the iphone, u can get a lot of apps, compared with any other mobile brand, this is the main reason why i like much more Iphone, and I am a bit sad that i discovered Iphone only 6 months ago :(

Great phone, exceptional performance, a lot of stuff, a lot of apps for windows mobile, great ROMs improving quality, great GPS, 3G at full speed, games in high quality, movies with subtitles no converting, nothing to complain. Off course you have to read a lot in forums to take the best of your phone, personally dont like standard samsung configs.

not every body can deal with windows mobile easily because when you buy it you will find that the original rom that comes with it is slightly laggy and you will need to install a cooked rom ..... ;)

Or a much better phone like galaxy s I9000. although it doesnt have a flash for the camera.Omnia II is quite LAGGY. its been a complain of many handset users like me. My Omnia II doesnt turn into landscape mode in Messaging. And the rest features are great..
