shan, 24 Mar 2010i have been using omnia 2 for nearly 8 months now.win 6.5 i... moresome people use windows mobile 5,6,6,x since long time as pda in their jobs because they need its application and also they are used to use the styles,so those people will have to keep a windows mobile with them even as a seconary phone untill there will be similar applications on window mobile 7, android ,symbian,or bada,but the people who bought windows mobile just as phone not as pda they will soon discover that it is laggy,and outdated os,and they will look for new phone and they will look for updating it to windows mobile 7 which is unrelated os.........

Does the Omnia II autonatically covert the files to mp3 when you record songs From an Fm station? & can it store it directly to its mmc?

just me001, 24 Mar 2010hi all, I recently received omnia 2 as a birthday gift, bu... morein messaging, and your phone is in porttrait mode, there are 3 keypad layout option; qwerty, 20 keypad, and 12 keypad by pressing mode/xt9 key for about 3 sec. in landscape mode, qwerty only. the 12 keypad input mode is similar to those old candy bar phones except with no 123, numeric input. just press SYM if you need to input numbers, etc.

TVP, 25 Mar 2010my question is for samsung... 1)is omnia i8000 comes wit... morewell TVP my answer to your first question is that there are already winmo 6.5 that is already packed in the box in UK and in other ASIA country and I dont know in India if there is already winmo 6.5 that is already packed in the box and your number two question my answer to your second question is that winmo 6.5 has more features compared to winmo 6.1 and if you want to know the difference bet winmo 6.1 from winmo 6.5 just go to this site www.windowsmobile.com and find your question there about what's the difference bet. winmo 6.1 to winmo 6.5 and you'll find all your answer in there my friend...

sk, 25 Mar 2010I tried to send the files via bluetooth as you said but onc... moreYea your rite my friend, you can send only 1 item at a time and I thought that will work but your rite, you send only one item at a time and I've went also to file explorer and tried to select all and beam all the items that I want to send but it didn't work and there is no mark and unmark for sending but when you are deleting files there is a mark and unmark for deleting files and I'll go to Samsung Center to try to solve this kind of problem and I will just update you my friend if they have already teach me how to solve how to mark and unmark files wen you are sending them... 1)is omnia i8000 comes with factory packed windows 6.5 os in india,
2) how is the performance of omnia i8000 in os windows 6.1 & in windows 6.5? which one better in omnia i8000.

Because i could no go back unless the whole file was sent. moreover I don't even see any percentage of the file sent which is very common in other cheap phones. Pl help.

EnigmatisM.., 25 Mar 2010I really like the features of I8000 omnia unlike other smar... morethe touchscreen of this phone OMNIA II is a resistive touchscreen meaning it has a stylus and you can use the stylus when typing at the qwerty keyboard of this phone OMNIA II so that if your fingers are too big, you can use a stylus so that it would be easier for you to type at the qwerty keyboard of this phone OMNIA II...

I really like the features of I8000 omnia unlike other smart phone and i really want to buy it probably this week but when i read the past review and some discussion on the comment side, in making or creating messages there is no other option aside of QWERTY type of keys????since before i used ALPHANUMERIC type of keys and i think it is hard for me to used a QWERTY type co'z my thumb finger is quit bigger.. i like ALPHANUMERIC type..

i have been using omnia 2 for nearly 8 months now.win 6.5 is a bit laggy....so i instaleed a netherlands rom...so now its smoother and faster response....about omnia 800mhz compared to htc hd2 1ghz..it makes a lot od difference..although the numbers dont seem that far away but the fact that omnis 2 is using an older architecture compared to the qualcom processor....so its perfoamance is slighlty less than a 6oomhz qualcom processor..dont do the maths here..to make it simple omnia hd 600mhz can do hd video but not omnia 800mhz....
OMNIA 2 WILL NEVER HAVE WIN 7 SUPPORT
strangely omnia hd might be able to run it...
htc hd2 will not be upgradeable to win 7 natively although it has all the requiirements....
so what im saying is omnia 2 died in a dignified manner in terms of its os than a horrible hd 2 death....and besides im proud to say that omnia 2 is one of the finest if not the finest win mo 6.5.
speculation for OMNIA 3...CAPACITIVE SUPER AMOLED 8MP HD RECORDING (PROCESSOR PROBABLY 1GHZ BUT I HOPE IT WILL BE MORE THAN THAT...PERHAPS A DUAL CORE 1.5 OR 2 GHZ...CAUSE A DUAL CORE 1.5GHZ QUALCOM PROCESSOR IS OUT...CHECK OUT HTC SCORPION!!!...SO OMNIA PLS DO BETTER...AND NO TOUCHWIZ ANYMORE...ALTHOUGH TOUCHWIZ 3.0 IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!...AND BLUETOOTH 3.0..I HOPE TO SEE a 1080p PLAYBACK SUPPORT)....ANYWAY JUST FOR THE RECORD SAMSUNGS 1GHZ HUMMINGBIRD IS FASTER THAN TOSHIBAS 1GHZ SNAPDRAGON....HAHAHA

hi all,
I recently received omnia 2 as a birthday gift, but I am not using it as I am almost only messaging with my mobile. My problem is that I only can message with a keypad on my omnia. Is there a possibility to change this setting like with an normal mobile? I mean, I don't want to see qwertyui.... but 123... and message like that.

This phone is great, even better than iPhone. Like the iPhone, the only disadvantage it can offer is the availability of its parts.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970and why will you tell that they won't have regrets in the future? heller your just like telling that don't buy OMNIA II so that you wont be angry and fustrated like me Cloudx 23... ha ha ha... and that's your phone Cloudx 23 bec. our phone OMNIA II works well and don't you see others who post here are all positve only few have negative comments like you bec. you don't read manual you always bark and wine for a little error and if you don't like to have small problem with your phone OMNIA II buy a phone that is simple so that you wont bark and wine always ok underdog...
