i have a prob n need help...i was installing windows live on my omnia 2 plus i was transfering songs to my memory card n i accidentally turn off the phone n now i turn it back on n it boots up after the windows mobile 6.1 logo the screen goes black n when u touch it all ur hearing is a ticking sound and at the top of the screen u can see the phone in is in offline mode....anyone who has experienced this problem n no wats wrong can u plz assist me in wat to do thanks in advance.

Does anyone know where I can download WM6.5 for the OM2. I live in the USA w/UK version phone. Downloaded the software from Samsung, but the app says not update is available??? Am I missing something????? Getting very frustrated with it. It said we will get WM6.5, but haven't yet..........................

i love I8000
but one thing that i am not comfort with.It is not that easy when i want to forward a message to many contacts in my contact list, you have to go to mnus than reply than forward than tap to add recipient ( 0/20) than search than phonebokk, it is long story.
it is not that easy.
If any one can advice me of any simple way, i will be appreciate it

nadia aziz, 01 Feb 2010I cant read arabic messages or send one if any one can tell... morenadia,, had you bought ur Omnia with Arabic support. Does the external box cover written with Arabic?
At the end it is windows we can add languages to it.

Does anyone know if the new Windows 6.5 download is available for the i8000 in Oz yet??
I've had this phone for 4 months and it is going very well. I spend about 3 hours a day on it without a problem, sure could use 6.5 though.

I have omnia i900 .. its just GREAT & for this p-pc i think it is the best phone ever made , sorry iphone fans ;)

But as the number of messages pile up, the slower your SMS message account will be. The application will start to lag when you open it. So I suggest that you delete all the old SMS when you reached 300 text messages in both your Inbox and Sent folder.

That is why many people call me and hang up.
Is there a cure for this??

My omnia has wm6.1 8GB in India and the problem is when a call comes it is initially very low and the goes up and this cannot be changed through the usual routes. Also the ring itself starts after 3 rings at the callers end. Any help is appreciated.
BTW, Wm 6.5 is not yet available here

First make sure that your HideOrientationUI value is "0". Soft-Reset your phone. On Today screen, on the left top of the screen tap : Start-Settings-Buttons(icon)-Camera. Then at the bottom on the screen you can select "Rotate Screen" and tap it so you will assign it to "Camera"
Go back on Today Screen.
On the Phone,press the cube button on the bottom to go to Productivity Screen tap: Settings-General Settings-Samsung TouchWiz UI and disable it.
Must work now ! Good Luck !
