I FAILED/pls h... moreRotate screen works for me on my winmo 6.1., Dont know about 6.5 but after changing registry you have to go through windows settings / personal / buttons, not samsung settings.In order to do that you have to turn off "Samsung touch ui", then go to "start button ,top left of screen" then windows settings.

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2010which is better, omnia 2 or omnia hd?? i cant decide betwee... moreIt actually depends, if you are more into HD videos and pictures I would suggest Omnia HD, however, if you are more into all around apps and decent videos and pictures, then Omina 2 is the best in my opinion. Currently using Omnia 2, but don't get me wrong, it's what they are made of that made me give this suggestion. For sure they are both great phones, it's up to your preferrence that counts most.

Using the phone for 3 days now. So impressions:- Good phone but not earth shaking. Some cons first :(1) Bit too long, is a bother as some pages hv to use 'X' button top right (2) UI not completely covering the WM 6.1 (which has awful touch controls)(3) UI leaves only approx 75 mb memory which quickly goes down to 50-55 bcause of WM memory leaks (4) the memory card holder has to be held by 2 fingers to put card in/out else it slides back.
Pros: (1) Beautiful screen and is ok under bright sun
(2) UI is incomplete but good enough (3) Good speakers (4) Slim & light (5) Feel solid (6) Lovely bright smooth screen

This is "maybe" the worst day for my Omnia 2. I was surfing the net then I think the memory is too low that my phone hangs... So I restarted my phone. Then bammmm, my 16gig memory was corrupted. So I have to pack up and go to Samsung Mobile Center. I'm a little upset about what happened but thanks to active sharing, all my contacts etc are all backed up in my laptop. It should have been a bad day for me, however, I'm happy with the service given to me by Samsung Center. They replaced the corrupted 16Gig memory of my phone and I got my Omnia 2 back in about 30minutes.
I'm still a happy Omnia 2 User (although I need to know what happened why the internal memory got corrupted).

I have this phone it's awesome!!! I must say good job Samsung! This phone has slo-mo built into the camera software! It has so much widgets! But just one teeny tiny problem. When I'm in the photo gallery, it somehow switches through the photos without me touching the screen. It is pretty hard to stop it and the only way to stop it is to close the photo gallery and open it again.

dnt wory about the strage getting full it will not slowdown d phone, if i wer u ill get d 16gig just like wat i did
