Yeap I read all the concerns in i8000 and that doesn't bother me at all. In using the internet, I installed an OPERA MOBILE 10 beta 2 for a faster and way way better interface for internet browsing. The lag is tolerable for me. I don't load a lot of widgets so there is no lag in my today screen.
The best thing of all, I can watch 2 movies in this phone and end up with up to 30% battery life and the screen is a WOW... The only downside of the display is the 65k (16bit) color. If they will change it to 32bit then everything will look great.

Hey guys !! There were some recent posts about the screen not going into landscape mode while writing an sms... is there anyone who can confirm this once and for all...
Because, If yes then this is the biggest drawback this mobile has...

Hello everyone!!!i just started using this phone..i put in my owner information and now whenever i start my phone from standyby the owner information pops up before the start menu..how do i disable the owner information from popping before anything else..?thanks in advance!

Help me Pleaseeeeeeee
i had activated my mobile tracker without any problems .
before one week i made deactivation for this mobile tacker to change my sim card but i received sms for stolen mobile
i tried to make soft and hard reset but nothing
still receiving this sms unless using my first sim card
anyway i want to deactivation this message ..Service care don't have any idea about this.

The absence of "voice calling" function is a big disandvantege. Also the manual is not good enough in order to explore the phone.

i have a problem with my internet connection.. i cant get connected with msn and facebook, it said no connectivity, but can connect to internet explorer... it was working properly when i bought it, who can tell me what happened?

do u all found that cons:-
-256mb memory always left 20+mb memory for open program,cant open big program like mapking,Ms Excel n camera together at same time.
-line coverage no signer, it happen few time per day.
-camera lens easy accumulate dust.
-mapking gps need run together with gpsgsate software, else it will hard to activation gps.
-mapking gps not smooth as htc mapking,sometime overcross road map instruction, the error msg prompt late 3~8 sec, sometime even worse .
-battery reduce 10~15% after reset on off button.
-camera photo cant set show date and time.
-camera quality bad as compare to my previous phone-SE K800I (3mp)
-speaker sound not louder enough.
-although sms storage infinity, but after store 300+ msg,it will start hang abit when receive msg.
other than that, this phone should be ok...

Been terribly busy with my new-born. And of course, I've taken numerous fabulous pictures and videos with my new toy. Point to note is to make sure lighting is sufficient as the exposure settings is not quite as corrective of the light level. Pictures taken so far has yielded a couple of very nice blown ups in my living room. Start up time of camera application is commendable as compared to the predecessor.
The GPS start up is pretty snappy too, as with most applications, less you have not restart the mobile for more than a week. I've notice a misleading thing about the GPS though, is that it guided me out of expressways exits while enroute and then redirected me to rejoin at the next entry. This thing happened a few times on that particular journey while i was finding my way to jurong along AYE. Subsequent usage has been very functionally normal nevertheless.
Honestly, I think Samsung did a great job of improving further an already fantastic device. Overall, great processing speed, smart look and great ass graphics to boot. As with all good creations, there is always some flaws!
Bring back threaded sms, embed the stylus(can add a soft strap to keep the styling) and thicken the screen please!!

are you using the internet sharing program?
you must set the usb connection to actsync first not the mass storage setting.
You may also try wmwifirouter appliction this is worth money you may conncet your pc thru wifi or usb

I need to turn off and on the phone just to make the message transform to landscape. the sms i sent comes to SENT ITEMS and INBOX as well..fuck that.. Im going to the service center if they can fix this. I just bought this less than a week.

Hi, i m using omnia ii from past one month and its quite nice with quality of pictures and sound. but youtube video was not good.
IMPORTANT: every time when connect the phone to laptop it always shows error: POCKETPC NETWORKING
cannot obtain a server assigned ip address or please type ip address on network settings.
please help me to fix this problem

The battery life of Omnia II is quite short..need to recharge it on the same day..shit..
