Agent X, 17 Nov 2009i think you would need a firmware upgrade, atleast for the ... morehi, everything is going fine and nice.. but would any one tell me how to solve the youtube video quality.. i have recorded a video and download an avi music video.. all the video quality is very nice and decent.. but what happen on youtube? u said to upgrade something? its already in win 6.5 and there is no update on samsung website.. plz help me.. i really want to keep this phone...

the "X" was not working... but after enabling the touchquize the "x" is working now.. my thumb obviously not that size.. i have tried it with the touchpen as well.. I again mention that omnia 2 is nice.. good looking light weight.. everything going fine.. all applications run good.. But i am really frustrated with the sound quality.(very low and noisy).. and ohhh the video quality is worse than any cheap phone.. i think that will happen for the amoled screen.. i have checked with the omnia I900.. where video is good.. so tft screen is good for mobile.. amoled is not.. would any one plz check the video performance by playing any video on youtube on omnia 2 and any other windows phone.. i need to sure that my omnia 2 is not faulty.. plz any one ensure me asap.. i have only 6 days left to return..

I find the omnia 2's battery life is excelent , samsung have done a wonderfull job keeping consumption to a minimal, with the black menu backgrounds ,if u keep data connections and bluetooth off (obviously) when not in use, you get great battery life.

it seems you dont know what u r talking about. When u press the "X" the battery etc comes up does it, well u clearly r pressing the icon next to the "X" which guess what ------ wait for it----- it brings up the battery etc. Are your fingers the size of watermelons?
And by the way , I've had my omnia 2 for about a month now and I think it is a "great" phone which pee's all over the isheep phone

i just upgrade to wm 6.5. seem all ok. But the sms function getting more worse. Now i still thinking how to disable threaded sms and pop up msg notification sound when you sms out(seem like you sms yourself...).
Cause during wm6.1 i unable to disable the pop up msg notification sound. So anyone how know to disable this two sms functions?

Armin, 14 Nov 2009all sites write I8000 have 16000000 colors but this site w... morethe phone can handle 160000000 colors, WM OS can only handle 65K.

I have the Omnia 2 and its miles ahead of the iphone in every way possible. Will get the HD2 as well. Don't try to talk up the iphone, because more and more WM phones are coming out way better than the iphone (HD2, Omnina 2, Acer F1, etc.).

Omnia II is a great phone!( - That is if you've never experienced the iPhone 3Gs).
When I bought my iPhone 3Gs, I still planned for an OmniaII for it's FM radio, 5 megapixel camera + Flash and be able to develop Win.Mobile apps. And also I could decide which goes to my girlfriend as a gift and which one I'll keep. :) But to my dismay, the camera is not that good. (I've tried my officemate's unit) My iPhone's 30fps video capture and 3mp still shots are way better.

Had it for a mont... morei didnt say that its not good looking.. obviously it looks amazing.. light weight.. good video color... but have u checked any flash video? gsmarena said its full flash supported.. is it? and what about the sound quality.. ver very low.. and noisy.. and whats about the (X or ok) on the top right side .. thats not working.. when u press on ok or X it shows the battery,network and others info.. plz check any other windows mobile.. would u plz help me how to back on previous menu... i still owe it and trying to find out any other good windows mobile.. would u plz suggest me...

Get the omnia II. I dont have flash trouble. Looks like someone is bagging on a phone they dont have.

mofs, 13 Nov 2009I got this phone two days ago... before that i use HTC diam... moreI disagree with you. I have the Omnia II. Had it for a month now. Mine works GREAT. No problems what so ever. Phone is fast and looks Good. The screen is amazing and videos look wonderful.
I urge anyone who wants wonderful phone to buy this one or HD2 both phones are wonderful............

I have buyed Samsung OmniaII from Honk Kong and using it in USA. It has ring and voice problem. MY voice and caller voice is stops. Always I have to re start device comletely than works well. It will change ring and voice level ramdomly. I would like to solve this problem if anybody knows that.
