I got this phone two days ago... before that i use HTC diamond and nokia n95. I dont know whats the problem with samsung... The sound quality is very very low.. Youtube is not playing smoothly... Adobe flash support is very limited.. so u cannot browse flash website.. u can browse only html website. Touchsceern is not good enough.. so dont want to compare with iphone.. Its not an Iphone killer..
But there's some good things.. camera is good enough.. Gps works good but only with google maps....
So plz think before buy.. i dont suggest any one to buy this phone.. would any one give any good windows mobile... i realy need a good one..

to Merhan,
your opera does not suppot flash. You either use IE to
watch youtube or download youtubplay which I suggest you to do so, just google search youtuplay for the download link

No matter what the specs say, if you're burning the battery using different apps, then it won't last. Also, some say your signal quality matters, if your phone is having to"reach" for it's signal, both data and phone, then it's going to try. When a phone loses signal it searches through all its available bands and it kicks a little more juice to reach a transmitter. It drains faster on the higher freq'd bands, also. Check to see if you carrier runs on the 1900 or 2100 Mhz freq's. Honestly, lasting a day is pretty good for a cell phone battery.

Does Omnia II not support live streaming? Mine(WM 6.1) can't run youtube.After tap one video clip,trying to connect,then the answer is "server or data timeout". Anyone can solve? tks

Hi guys, I just got my new Samsung Omnia II & I'm exploring & learning all the functions, but I notice that the battery don't last too long, on standby & without making any calls I get around 70 hours & if I muck around with the phone surfing the web or emailing the battery last only a day...... Is this common????? the specifications show that I sould get about 430 hours on a single charge,
Please anyone can advices, thanks

i m using omnia 2 for about one month.best softwares for omnia 2 in my opinion 1.SPB mobile shell3.5
2.S2U2 (slde to unlock)
3.SK tools can u guys suggest more great softwares like this for omnia 2??

BabiHutan, 11 Nov 2009let me know if it works for u, deej... cheersdownloaded and installed "Kies",haven't fully explored the software yet but looks good. Can maybe now unninstall "Samsung PC Studio",,, yay. Downloaded and installed some free apps, all is good.
Not a great deal of apps and games to choose from but it will only get from here.
Tell me,is this software and samsung application store new?
