Christine... There are several anomalies with all of them. Omnia mk2 i8000 has a lot of touch screen problems and several O/S dramas. They may? be fixed with the new winmo6.5 but that won't be out for ages yet. The jet cops a real pasting on the gsm site and the prixon is running the samsung O/S, something only to be approached by the brave.
Take your time in selecting, none of these are living up to the samsung hype... at all.

Yes, 6.5... but definitely not this year. Probably not until March+ 2010.
Samsung are very slow out of the blocks with a lot of things on this VERY expensive phone.

Can somebody tell me if omnia 2 with WM 6.5 will be upgradable to WM 7,...8,...etc... ???
I really need to know this, if someone knows anything about that.

Can anyone tell me which phone is better? Between Samsung Jet, Samsung Omnia 2 and Samsung Pixon 12? I want a phone which is good at music, camera and other functions.

Had mine 24 hours and generally it exceeds expectations. Battery life amazing, as is screen and cal clarity. Nice slim body (unlike owner!) Downers - can't find GPS settings anywhere as yet, emails are only in very small font, and don't go into landscape.
Takes some tome to set up.
If anyone can help re the GPS I would be grateful for a posting.
Good phone overall Far, Far better than Storm 2

Why dont mobile phone companys create a universal dock on the bottom of the phone/media players, thats why apple ipod/iphone are so popular, u can plug it into hundreds of music players, they have all now standardised the usb charger I just wish they would have a dock port on the bottom of there devices.

Hello everyone.
I would just like to remind people of the spb mobile shell available for this phone. It'll improve your omnia 2 ten fold I have been using mine with the shell for about 2 weeks and could not be happier.
I also recommend people that love video to download the youtube app (not the widget but the application) off of google. its the fastest way to check out your favorite youtube videos without the lag and waiting to load (just search, click, and enjoy).
another point i want to make is that the omnia 2 takes time to get used to partially due to unlimited customizing with the spb shell. contacts look awesome, texts messages or emails likewise, applications customizable to some extent, this phone is just about everything i could ask for I even stopped using my laptop as much because of the phones speed and pleasing UI design.
video playback on this phone is like no other bright sharp and high contrast thanks to the AMOLED screen which reduces battery consumption unlike back lit displays that over consumes battery life. I actually managed to watch transfomers 2 all the way through with plenty of battery life left try doing that with a back-light display.

I bought 'Samsung Jet S8003' last week but was dissapointed to know that inspite of massive internal and external memory it can have only 200 smss only!!!!!

wow, what a great phone,mine goes like a rocket,NEVER SEIZES,am happy with touchwiz 2,making and recieving calls are faultless, video and audio are spectaculer,alarms and reminders all work fine,camera and it's functions work fine,battery life is great and the screen is not overrated ,it is amazing.
This is my 4th winmo phone and it is by far the best i've had.HTC touch diamond was the worst,what a piece of junk that was. HTC HD 2 might be ok , we'll see,but it will cost more than omnia 2 .

can"t help I'm afraid,youtube is working fine on mine.I did have trouble at first but i put that down to poor reception.Going through the youtube widget and coreplayers tube they both work fine.
