can"t help I'm afraid,youtube is working fine on mine.I did have trouble at first but i put that down to poor reception.Going through the youtube widget and coreplayers tube they both work fine.

Thanks a lot deej, but im gonna stick to my omnia first. maybe getting used to it is the key. hehehe. I have another problem though... I cant seem to play you tube videos whether in opera or explorer. Why do u think that is? Shd i do something in the settings? Help. Thanks in advance.

I agree. Give the HTC a go, I have taken my 18000 back twice for tests to see why it is seizing. The Samsung techs don't know why, or care I fear. There are a few other problems too. Basically it does not come close to value for the money these phones cost compared to phones of 3 years ago. Sadly.

You're doing the right thing waiting for the new HTC,
there are a number of faults in the omnia mk2 which samsung refuses to address, no matter how many customers tell them abt them. The AMOLED is overrated by the way, esp compared to the many oversights samsung has made with this phone.

It seems the phone has many bugs and problems ... thats why it's still not being released in most countries .... although it was supposed to be released in July. Very strange ... I wanted to buy this phone but it's still not available in Middle East. I will wait for HTC HD2 which sounds more promising. But Samsung has an advantage of AMOLED which is really amazing.

Sorry about the typo earlier,was unintentionable.
I see what your talking about with the finding songs issue.I guess you're in a bit of a pickle.Maybe invest in another player,they're is some good ones out there.I've put coreplayer on mine simply because it plays everything.You might find one with a more usable search function.
Take a look at "handango".

Good News the phone has been launched finally in india for 28,990 rs. I would wait for a while till the price drops more before going for it !

I love playing songs with my cellphone. I mean come on...i am given a big space that could fit my current 3000 songs and im sure i could add more but then i cant even find the songs i wanted. Whats the point ryt?! You see the songs in my computer are saved in different ways when i copied it from the CDs i bought/borrowed. Most of them are numbered at the beginning or are given a different title. So i cant really find them through scrolling coz for example the song that should have been titled Unwell by matchbox was saved in my computer (thus copied in my omnia) as 12.Unwell, then when I look for it by scrolling down, i wont be finding it in songs beginning with letter U. Imagine scrolling down through roughly 2500 songs then seeing its not there when you know for sure that it should be there...its really frustrating. Do they expect me to memorize all the filenames of 3000 songs. Or what numbers they begin (if they are saved that way)?. Maybe they expect a really hardworking phone user who would rename all 3000 to 5000 songs in their computers accordingly. I dont do that. I just copy the cd and thats it. Im lazy that way. I mope around with earphones listening to music all day long. Maybe thats my karma for being lazy. Damn this sucks big time. im just so used with my n95 where i would just type "family" and choices like "Ode to my family", "family affair", "family portrait" etc would list itself for my selection. Ill give myself time to get use to it. 'Naf rumbling!Gonna play some nirvana now.hehe Thanks again deej. (BTW... hope samsung can do something about it before i upgrage for 6.5 winmo this december that would be freakin' awesome!!! please samsung! for your newly converted user)

Anybody who knows hot to disable the message send when you get a call ?
I carry the phone in my bag and if I touch it accidentally it sends a message even if I dont want to ?
Pleaaassee..... How to disable this function ??

There is a little volume slider on the headphones about half way down the cable (where the two pieces plug in together). Try that.

My alarm is set for 11AM for the 5 working days but each Monday the alarm goes off at 6AM, briefly. Does anyone know what that is?? It doesn't happen the other 4 days.
I've had it for 3 weeks now and it has totally seized twice, incl today. I had to pull the battery out for a restart. The samsung techs in Australia haven't got a clue why these 2 things happen.
They also don't know when 6.5 will be out.
Does anyone know how to assist with the alarm??

aafi, 26 Oct 2009The phone is already available in india.. and is for around... more@aafi....i have not yet found any dealer in india who is selling this phone with warranty....and to buy something for 27k i am not goin to risk by buy without any warranty specially for any touch screens that is a must.
