Can anyone answer me this,if you can please,please answer.Can I download the roms for 6.1 and later 6.5 so I can freely install either as I please from my pc?
I've had winmo on i-mate device until now and they supply roms for download (6.0 then 6.1) .Does Samsung do this ?

Seems what u say is really personal opinion so your comments are void, I mean,too big? well, how big r u....Jets better?,well maybe a great device,(I thought about it but went for windows) but it's restricted.65000 colours, not as good as 16000000,I agree but hay lifes not all apple pie.I'd still rather the freedom of winmo.
Finally, 800 mhz processor not good enough eh, 1000 would be better or 2000 would be better still, or what about 2.6 gig dual core with 3 gig ram and nvidia 8800 gts graphics,,wait a minute, thats a pc

hi, anyone has any idea where is the default directory for downloaded installed games from the Application store? I downloaded a paid game 2 days ago but was neither unable to find it the defaulted games nor the windows directory. There was no prompt to which directory prior to installation....advice appreciated..thks inadv!

hi , do anyone knows if the message font size could be changed for Omnia 2 ? and also after sending a message , there will be a message tone , does anyone know how to disable it ?? please help me .

This Phone is really great but these Points are a NO GO for this device °!
-ONLY 56.000 colours for a big display like this!(better 16 mio)
-WindowsMo 6.5 OS is very lame !!!(1 Ghz cPu would be better)
-The deive isnt comfortable to hold it in the hands because its too big! ( the screen has 3.7" but 3.5" would be more intelligent)
because this model could be really very good with windows mobile but these points make them down
the samsung jet is a device which samsung enginnered very well compared to the Omnia 2 :D

For voice dialing and in general for voice commands check Vito Voice2Go.
Also check Vito AudioNotes for voice recording with the expeptional feature of "calls autorecord" I records automaticaly your phone conversation

reply to omnia2 user,,I also tried mobile shell 3.5 and wow ,, talk about turning the omnia 2 into a rocket. Turn off touchwiz and widgets ( u can still use samsung apps) and the device turns into a VERY fast winmo. I get NO lag at all, everything is instant, and I do mean instant.I wish touchwiz was as fast.
p.s. does everyone know if u long press the "X" button the application fully closes.

the flash 7 app works great on it. no problems but am hoping to update to 10.1 soon.
Also to everyone about the 6.5 update question.
Microsoft is doing something with their new server
and as far as i know no 6.1 winmo device can not be udated at the moment.
Recommendation app.
Spb shell is the best thing to heighten the performance of the Omnia II.
Pros
5 different widget screens
Amazing UI
can preview whole text messages
connect to wifi much quicker
customization is awesome.
Cons
some deep parts remain windows mobile 6.1
but should change once winmo 6.5 is released.

It seems handster.com DOESN'T have a download for voice dialing for the 18000. A pity that.
The winMo 6.5 upgrade is still several weeks away, at best, for this phone and there is no reason to think that it download will be the answer to this maidens prayer if samsung history is anything to go by.

I tried handster.com to get a voicedial download for the omnia 18000 but they don't have one, at least not yet. If anyone knows how to get a voicedial for bluetooth on this phone please list it here.
