uragun, 01 Oct 2009are u sure mate? I've been waiting this bloody phone for 3 ... moreAs far as i have seen gtr only on Orange at the mo, but to be honest i have not looked for any other provider. I got the phone for free with 1200 mins and unlimited txt and internet for £35 a month on an 18 month contract. Well pleased to say the least. :)

hey there..i dont visit here regularly so just ym me to my name as above.....omnia or s8000...omnia of course...
being with the 02 now,i could say that its usability is on par with an i phone 3G...A FRIEND of mine owns the apple shit..well for ur info this phone plays mkv without hassle with core player unlike other winmo thanks to faster processor and ram.the s8000 series is based on symbian s60v which i had tried...well amoled looks better in omnia than in jet but jet is just too cute...smaller..way smaller and fits nicely in hand...thing is what u need to know is that s60v5 is relatively new so not much 3rd party software...as far as i know core player isnt supported yet for symbian s60v5...if u dont know what is core player pls wiki it...its a must have...the price is difference isnt much so i would say this...if u like a phone as it is and want something easy to use than u get JET...but if u want to explore and utilise the max ability of a phone get an omnia and customise it....visit careace for support.winmo 6.5 will be launched next week....my fren with i phone was jeolous of this samsung babe...so i can assure u that it will be never boring with omnia.!!!sorry for the late reply...if u want to wait longer and want a symbian device,pls wait for SE satio.it will be worth the wait and by that time there will be more support for s60v5

The Omnia 2 is the best phone on the market now and until new WinMo 7 phones come out next year (mid to end). This phone is fast. This phone has tons of features. One is you can record live FM radio and add to music library, or as ringtone. I've added a program that brings WinMo 6.5 to that phone right now and it really makes the phone very, very easy to use. Cannot wait to update to WinMo 6.5 in a few days, and that will take this phone to whole new level. Beware iPhone users. This phone is the best!!!!

AVAILABLE via Mobiles.co.uk, on Orange free from £30 as of today. No info as to if other networks will follow, but I doubt Vodafone as they buggered up Omnia 1. O2 possibly but trying to get information from them is impossible, they enjoy obstructing customers. Omnia 2 may be too much of a iphone challenge for them to be on the same shelves.

I only have one question as well. When just when are we ever going to see this handset in the UK. Again Samsung delay and this creates resentment, and potential purchases move to rival products, which is what I am going to do in a matter of days.

Samsung omnia-II when it will be available in saudi arabian market can samsung can tell me, i have been waiting this phone to buy and several i spent the money on unnecessary things, i fear that it will take long time to be available here pls answer im in rush and very excited to buy this celphone.

very good phone, touch screen is responsive cool UI and most importantly is the new omnia 2 comes with 3.5mm standard headphone jack (which the previous omnia lacks of).
*camera comes with functions near to a digital camera.
*phone not laggy as compared to the first omnia.
overall a good windows mobile phone to get.

Honestly, this phone is not for hard work, it has got lots of good features but after one month of use, i want to sell it and buy another. Its too slow.

A very good job on the review of the OmniaII with WM6.5
It's detailed and I am encouraged by the wait for the new OS. Am definitely considering it.
