Btw waleed, if you must have the Omnia 2, check Ebay Singapore. Quite a few units on offer. There are new and used ones, the price varies. It can be shipped to Egypt. Good luck mate!

waleed farid, 20 Sep 2010i'm looking for omnia 2 i'm from egypt i didn't find it any... moreHi waleed
Omnia 2 is discontinued. It works on Windows Mobile and WM is an unstable OS. WM 7 will not be available for Omnia 2. Samsung has brought out several newer models. If you must have a Samsung, then go for the Samsung Galaxy S or the Wave. I like the Galaxy S with the 4 inch screen. These work on Android OS.

HD 2 is a good choice, but it also works on WM. Have a read on my comments about these 2 phones a week ago.

I travel overseas on duty a lot, therefore use my phone mainly on WIFI internet. It`s a big help while waiting at an airport or flight delays. I have to agree with Rohini K, Opera hangs quite a fair bit, this becomes very frustrating! Exactly as fadz said, after 2 months and after loading a few apps the phone has become slow and hangs more often. Clearing the old and unused stuff from the memory helps, as the phone does not hang that much. I`m going to keep it as it is,no games,no more apps, just use it as a internet browser and phone. I use Skype to call home or friends abroad. WMA audio files play very well with excellent sound quality. With this kind of usage, my battery last for 2days.

I've had my omnia 2 4 about a year now and have loved it but samsung australia has let me down. The promise of wm6.5 never came ( when I email them I never get a response) new widgets never appear, new apps " at samsung apps " never appear , Now seems omnia is gone, outdated (that was qiuck).Funny too how samsung australia still advertise as upgradable to 6.5 and advertised as 16 million colours. Liars.

that's not true actually when your using headphones the sound quality is good and second your talking about LG actually I have a Lg phone but the sound quality is poor and if you dont know how to used Windows Mobile surely you will be confused, its like using a computer that has Windows if you dont know how to used a Windows surley you will be confused so if you dont want to much features just buy a ordinary phone so that you will not always wine for small thing you don't know...

ReportI use it and all is well but FM radio,no sound output when headphones attached,it sucks...and even MP3 audio..literally whatever you do it with headphones on is really a big disappointment.Windows Opera is a flop.So I suggest readers to go for android instead of windows and think windows is not user friendly with mobiles.Better go for LG brand over Samsung its FM and other audios really blasts.
