everyone is entitled to their own opinion and when people start telling their opinions (which in fact are incorrect) on forums like this they give people the wrong impressions.
Windows Mobile is not unstable,and to say it is is just an immature falsity.Like any computer if the wrong software is installed it can become unstable but if you select the right software this phone will run without a hitch. My omnia has lots of stuff installed and it runs sweet.(if anyone wants a heads up on what works well,ask).
So please dont call this phone unstable because I know for a fact it is not.

For those who dont know where to find the LCD Test for OMNIA II just follow my steps;
Step 1: Go to icon "phone"
Step 2: Press the *#0*# and access the LCD Test Application.

there are charges if you want to upgrade you netqin antivirus to the latest netqin antivirus but if you dont want to upgrade it there is no charges at all... hope this helps...

all i can say about omnia 2 is very simple. every 6 months i change my cp out of frustrations. but this stuff changed it.after 18 months im still using my omnia 2 6.5wm . music, browser, photos, videos, phone calls, am really satisfied. im sure its because i know how to use it. its a perfect smartphone.

Just follow my Steps in how to used the Windows Default as your background theme;
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Go to Display and Light
Step 3: Go to Items on Today
Step 4: When your already in the Items on Today, unmarked the Samsung WidgetPlus, after that marked the Windows Default then pree Done
Step 5: Go and checked your Homescreen Background if the Windows Default background has appeared

There are two preloaded promo videos which really highlight the brilliance of the screen and can go as high as 120fps at QVGA resolution for slow motion recording.

For All OMNIA II users;
reports on what appears to be an impeding release of an official Windows Mobile 6.5.3 ROM update for the Samsung Omnia 2.
So far multiple official beta ROMs have leaked, the latest being build JE1, which features the updated OS, and is apparently pretty speedy, and has the full complement of Samsung software.
Windows Mobile 6.5.3 brings improved gesture support to the OS which should make the use of touch-screen only devices such as the Omnia 2 significantly easer.
The ROM (in Italian) can be downloaded from the HDBlog forums here.

Actually my friend I just want to correct you out there are countries that still sell OMNIA II like in Middle East in Saudi Arabia, OMNIA II is number one in selling product, next is the Samsung Galaxy S, in Uk country like in London, Britain I have a friend there they told me that they are still selling OMNIA II, so not all of the country your mentioning has already discontinued selling OMNIA II...hope this helps

Yes! you can upgrade your OMNIA II to winmo 6.5.3 by flashing it with customized roms and you can get your anti virus here bec. this is the best antivirus for OMNIA II and just follow my steps were to get your NetQin Antivirus for your Omnia II;
Step 1: Go to www.netqin.com from your pc
Step 2: Go to NetQin Mobile Ant-virus v3.2
Step 3: After that go to Windows Mobile 6 Profssional (PPC) En v2.4
Step 4: Change the Language to English
Step 5: Choosed youe Brand
Step 6: Choosed your Device thenclick Download
Step 7: After transfering the NetQin Antivirus from pc to your smartphone OMNIA II, install it
Step 8: Openyour Netqin antivirus application in your smartphone OMNIA II
Step 9: After that click the update but before clicking the Update you must load first your smartphone OMNIA II
Step 10: When you have finished loading your balance from your smartphone OMNIA II, open first your wifi and connect to a wireless connection and after connecting to a wireless connection, open again your Netqin antivirus application from your smartphone OMNIA II and click the "UPDATE"
