Does anyone here ever have any experience using Kies application for Samsung Omnia II??
I got it through samsung offical website and i downloaded it. I installed but i still haven't used it.
please somebody tell me what are the functions of this application?

The cube key doesnt have light and if you have missed calls and new messages the cube key in the center doesnt light up but if you want to see your missed calls and new messages without pressing the start just move the widget for new messages, email messages and missed calls outside the main screen ok my friend.

The difference bet. a smartphone from a non smartphone for example OMNIA II vs. JET actually OMNIA II has OS what we call the Operating System like Symbian, Windows Mobile, Android, Bada etc. which a non smartphone like JET doesnt have.

The Main Storage is what you call the ROM meaning Read Only Memory and there you will only see the programs or applications that you have installed in your smartpone OMNIA II.

As i know omnia II had 2 types of memory...first was 'my storage'...and second was 'storage card'...but what is 'main storage'..?My 'main storage' was nearly full..I can't received bluetooth data until my 'main storage' is empty...Somebody could explain me how..?

In reply to Anonymous who has an ip address "nx2x" well I just want to greet you first a pleasant goodmorning and well have said and yes! you can post whatever you like bec. this is a free post opinion forum but you cannot dictate people from this OMNIA II post opinion if wheter they will buy this smartphone OMNIA II bec. its not your decision making to do its their decision and furthermore you have a big mouth if you dont really like this smartphone OMNI II then sell it and not all of the phones from Samsung have defects like the one you have bought in Jarir because for example like me when I bought my OMNIA II it has no defects and the my storage is there so you cannot judge all the Samsung phones bec. of the fact that happened to you and you can either tell us from this OMNIA II free post opinion forum what happened to your smartphone OMNIA when you bought it either it is negative or positive and that's ok! but provoking other poplw from this site posting WARNING and telling them not to buy this smartphone OMNIA II is not rite bec. its not your ecision makig to do and thats the part that your wrong and furthermore yes! Did the cube, answer and reject keys had a light or not
because my phone I8000 did not have any lights to know if i received a message or missed call or to see the keys in the night

1.i live in middle east yet no winmo 6.5 is available even in samsung site for middle east. and when i want to update through net it said error ur device will not be update
2.when i delete something from my storage it short cut still remain how to remove every thing . thanks

Thanks you for taking the time to reply to my post but I’m sorry if my experience with this device upsets you so. But I come from a part of the world where people are freely allowed to have views and express opinions without the fear of censorship or threat of “we will remember your IP address” type comments. If anything you are the one who is in breach of good forum etiquette with your silly emotional outburst and ranting like you did.
The purpose of this forum and other like it is for people to share their opinions and first hand reviews of products… in the case of the Samsung Omina II my experience my not been a favorable.
Facts speak for themselves... I have had 2 (two) brand new shiny out of the box Samsung Omina II phones in the space of one month and both phones demonstrated the same problems with the built in 16Gb storage “My Storage” disappearing and all the data contained on it. I will add that the phone was not tampered with or any attempts to upgrade it in any way… just normal use. This is clearly a manufacturing defect by the manufacturer and potential customers need to be made aware of it before spending their money.
I do not agree with you that it’s the fault if the store that sold me the phone, that’s just ridiculous nonsense. They are not ones who were responsible for the poor quality that Samsung decided to put in the box.
I stand by my recommendation that people should not purchase this phone and would be best advised to spend a little more for a quality product.

well that's hard my friend bec. there is no link in the internet for you to download the winmo 6.5.3, just in Samsung Service Centre but nevertheless I will still find a site for you were to download your winmo 6.5.3 but I'm not making any promise ok but if your asking for winmo 6.5 I can give you a ling but for winmo 6.5.3 I think there is not yet available link for you to download the winmo 6.5.3 in the internet only winmo 6.5
