AnonD-108010, 21 Mar 2013Do'es it play mkv file an full hd video ?It plays 720p MKV files smoothly on stock player(i've been watching Supernatural and Fringe series 720p mkv for a month now),but the sound may not be reproduced properly if it is DTS encoded...
a simple solution is that u can download the free MX player from the playstore and u can watch and listen any video file format :p

For example, turn off the motion features (or some of them) since you can do things without them. Set the screen-time activity by 15 seconds. Things like that. Open task manager and end all applications that you don't need. There are some apps that can do task kill and save power. Based on my experience, if you use S III Mini in messaging and calling purposes only, battery can lasts for about two days.

I've noticed it as well lately that even though the phone is not on mobile data, it drains battery so badly, after 8 hours only 45% left.
Had a few short calls and 1 text as well.
I've only had it 4 days and I'm really thinking to take it back where I got it..

S3 mini utilizes battery alot, I need to keep charging twice a day. I don't use internet or any other apps on this phone. When I go and see the battery utilization, it shows majority is used on Anroid. My phone is on Power saving mode as well. Can anyone suggest as how to keep my battery charge more??

I have just downloaded another v4.1.2 ROM and after flashing the phone it displayed the 'Fleur' theme on bootup(which is really just pink wallpapers).
If anyone wants that on their phone I can post the link to the ROM.
