                  thank you for the link. I know it already. That's why i never leave bank password, account, credit card number, etc on my android. i left that on my black berry.

                  Risk is a must for android rooted user to take-on though. Changing password, log-out FB, and etc. Still, i love root though and change software + firmware.

                    Thinking about upgrading to this from the Nexus S, looks like they are pretty similar phones, is it worth it in anybodies opinion?
                    I just don't fancy upgrading to something so large in size the standard sIII

                      I have flashed more phones than I've had hot dinners but always with non-rooted Firmware, and it has never presented any problems, but you are missing the point. Rooting your phone is like refitting your house out with new furnishings and fittings and then going out and leaving the doors open.
                      Just Google 'dangers of rooting your phone' to find out the dangers. Here is one example from a xda forums moderator of all people.

                        edit: check for forums about what you've done. some custom rom or root for certain device have a bug one or two even more.

                            @freefaller

                            sry to hear that. I see you have such a hard time. Well that's root. No one knows what will happened. still got probability ended up in slowing all, etc, even failure. You did what the guide say didnt you? have you miss anything bcoz first time rooting sometimes people want to be quick and a bit lazy to read some very critical instructions and ended up bad. or just maybe your device maybe unlucky.

                            why? because since i've owned galaxy ace in 2011, i've just play with odin to upgrade firmware and root. no such custom roms installed. then it got stolen but so far no issues.

                            then in 2012 i've got galaxy w. with this, i could easily swtich rom back and forth from stok to custom (cm9,cm10, aokp, biohazard, etc) and none of your problem exists.

                            and i even root and insert custom rom on 2 galaxy note 1 on my friends. even they didnt got such issue.. what they feel is how crazy custom rom can improve..

                            and finally come to s3 mini, just flashed a rooted firmware and no problem at all. don't be afraid to root. maybe u just unlucky at that time. that's all :D

                              now this is gonna be BIG disappointment if this list gets final...http://www.gsmarena.com/galaxy_s_iii_and_note_ii_to_get_android_50_others_get_stuck_at_422-news-5720.php

                              no next gen of Android 5.0 for the S3mini and i thought samsung has promised at least 1 next gen of android upgrade for their smartphones :p

                              this is gonna make mad alot of samsung owners,the S3mini is only 4 months old device which comes with android 4.1 out of the box and if samsung cuts the support that will be a very LOW hit...

                              The S2 allrdy got 3 upgrades in last 2 years and this is not gonna be fair for the S3mini least to say
