I love galaxy s3 mini and so far this is the best i have ever use with android jelly bean out of the box, battery life is just good for a day and the screen is vivid and bright although resolution is not that great but i love samoled screen, it has sturdy built and the display is scratch resistant with anti glare and one thing i love this phone is the audio quality when using headset it has deep bass and clear sound im just dissapointed with camera becoz it cant focus well so pictures i took is always blurred but overall its a best phone for those looking for affordable and useful smartphone.

modda, 24 Feb 2013\how does this work on Viber, Tango, Skype etc.. Quality wiseViber and Skype work great..clear,quality sound calls,skype video calls are also great(at least my friend from london says he can see me in clear image)..
dont know about Tango,dont use that app...
and this is on Wi-Fi usage only,dont wanna use 3g(keeps the battery up and c'mon,wi-fi this days is in every corner of the city,workplace,coffee shops etc)

why do they root?
Increase memory
Increase performance
Install apps you wouldn't be able to install otherwise
Mess with homescreens, backgrounds
but not everybody feels the same way. its up to u.

Hi guys,
I am not able to make video call on this device. I tried couple of times but failed and it shows message as can't connect video call try voice call?

the specs. is very good but the battery is 1500mAH only? very disappointed to this.. still battery will suffer and become this phone worthless, do i'm right?

One more tip for you. Go into Settings/Developer options.. and scroll right down to Apps, and tick the box marked 'Do not keep activities' ON.

but the problem is this that the battery... moreme to same problem...
battery save tricks
1) power seving mode ON
2) bluetooth & wifi OFF when u r not useing them
3) sync always OFF
4) use GSM network mode if u r not useing mobile internet
5) kill baground runing apps
6) uninstall unuse apps
7) brightness must be low
8) screen timeout 15 or 30 sec.
9) Enable Plug-in - on demand or off
10) dont use amination

but the problem is this that the battery consume too fast
if i'm not using my mobile the whole one day.... next day my mobile is off

The figure you got is right. The rest of the memory is used to hold the Operating System (Android). If it wasn't stored on your internal memory then everytime you wanted to make a call you would see a message like 'Please wait... Installing Android' or similar, and you would have to wait about 5 minutes for Android to install. It would be the same for messaging and anything else.
I have just downloaded the 4.1.2 Rom to flash onto my phone. The ROM is 1,061.351kb or 1.06Gb, and that is unexpanded. It will grow bigger when it is installed.
