Why would anybody want this phone? We already have the S2 and S1. If I should get a smaller phone than my S3 I would take the HTC one S.

Dear All!
Galaxy S3 is Samsung's version of iphone 5. It goes neck to neck with iphone 5. Screen size is same and other hardware specs are similar or better than iphone5. Offcourse this phone is inferior to GS2. SIEMENS was playing with very high hardware specifications. They needed something to fight at the level of iphone 5. Here is the SAMASUNG's answer. Iphone5 has specs of a middle range phone and GS3 mini proves it. This phone is made for those ladies who cannot handle a screen size of 4.8 inches. Samsung has thrown a screen size similar to that of iphone 5 to give small phone lovers a thought.

what the funny, I think Samsung is making fool for the mid range devices,what is new in dis hand set,only this device is look like s3,n s dios,n only nfc is extra features added in dis device... 5mega pixel is common this days, expecting 8 mega pixel camera,1080 hd video recording,1.2ghz snapdragon scorpion processor,dual core, and the price around 24000rs, this all the v should expect

Disappointing. The phone is priced at $550 which is quiet a big price for a (mid range) mid range phone. The specs aren't quiet exciting. And it is a very bad decision. For all those who wanted to buy this phone(Including me) will be really disappointed. We can get a htc Wp 8s at a reasonable price(only 370$)which is a new gen snapdragon S4 phone with windows 8.

Its like the ace2 but i'd say samsung is stinjy
Samsung never give even 12 mp front camera,ram only 1gb usually,always give mali(week graphics)
they always only give quad core the most no dual core and never cards or chip like tegra3 for example

If these specs are true - the Galaxy S Advance i9070 is even better phone with NovaThor U8500 instead of U8420 :))))

They shd hav upgraded Ace 2 rather then coming up with S3 mini.... Can't see any reason for this product ... It would be a success only if its price is lower... Rather it might bring a feeling of dissatisfaction for ppl who are having original s3 as mini share its name... so that feeling of having "the original S3" would be lost somewhere...

550$ wtf! it's too expensive i think for a wvga resolution and a nova thor processor. for real galaxy sIII or galaxy note2 even 900 bucks is normal but for this phone 400 euros ???????

Samsung should not have code named it GS3 Mini. Its mini but not that of GS3. Perhaps Sammys don't want sales of GS3 hurt. That's why this phone's specs are no way close to GS3. I wish Samsung had made a compact phone (4" display with very thin bezel)with specs similar to that of GS3. Something which is done by no company except up to some extent Motorola (RZR M). It would have blown everything away...

If Samsung had kept the same internal specs of the original S III then I think the Mini would have actually been more deserving its name. However, I suspect that Samsung will slap the S III software package on it to give the same experience. :-)

Why are the Samsung mini models always not including all the bands in 3G that the regular phones operate in. I have noticed the the 800Mhz band is always not included.??
