Vito, 24 Jul 2017The Mine, was working well, but after 3 years/11 months ins... moreThat happened to my s3 mini about 2 years ago I think. It keeps going on and off or restarting. Just change the battery, make sure it's an official samsung replacement battery, and that on/off problem will be gone.

The Mine, was working well, but after 3 years/11 months instead put off and not gonna works again, keeping off and I don't have any idea about this problem.

Purchased mine 2012, replaced the battery 2 years ago and it still works. Just make sure you're not installing too much apps and use old version of apps for it to run smoother.

Guys, don't buy this phone in this day and age. Mine's barely hanging on for dear life, it runs at a snail's pace, Chrome crashes every other time I open it, Messaging barely works. Not worth any miniscule amount of money it goes for.

ive been using this phone for almost five years now it still works properly but sometimes it lags thpugh but it's still pretty solid

Ahhh s3 mini. Got cracked completely and it still working perfectly fine. Unfortunately , games like nfs nl and asphalt extreme refused to start entirely. But for the age of 5 years ( 7 years for the specs) it was a great phone and i could play
Shadow fight 2 and asphalt overdrive in 2015.
Samsung won' make any mini anymore

Nikola, 11 Mar 2017How to put Lolipop 6.1 in s3 mini?1.- Root your S3 Mini (I usually use a sideloaded Kingo Root Mobile/PC version)
2.- Install Clockwork Mod from PlayStore
3.- Using CWM, patch your Recovery menu (I don't remember where is that option, but fiddle around).
4.- Download a Lollipop/Marshmallow ROM for S3 Mini (I've used CyanogenMod 12 before, but there is Carbon, SlimROM and others. Looks the one that suits you).
5.- Download the Google Apps (GAPPS) that suits your version of the OS and the amount of apps you want to download (I use Pico, that haves only Google Play and a few essentials, the others get downloaded separately)
6.- Put the GAPPS and the ROM you choose on your SD card.
7.- Hard-reset your phone (Turn phone off, hold Home, VolUp and Power keys until you hear a beep and then release the keys)
8.- Go to the Recovery Menu's Advanced options, then choose Wipe. Wipe the Cache, Dalvik and User partitions.
9.- Go back to the Advanced menu and choose Update>From External Storage>select the ROM you downloaded. You may have to follow some install menus. Choose NOT TO RESET the phone.
10.- Once the instalation program finishes, install GAPPS in the same way.
11.- Reset the phone. Enjoy your new OS.
