I had this phone for about the time it was launched. around November 2012. Still have it working until today, Had the battery replaced once. If you compare it with todays phones battery wise. it won't last that long. But for 5 years, I can say that this is a solid phone! pretty happy for the service it provided for me :) FYI. I am still using this until today 12/12/17

After 5 years, this is a very good phone yet and and many people still preffer this cheap and strong phone.

I hate how smaller versions of phones have to have compromised specifications!!! Don't get this phone! Get the iPhone SE! That is a small phone with no compromised specifications!!!

I just got this one few days ago to mess around with it. It was my sister's and then my mother's phone, and now she upgraded to J5 2015. Everything is still working fine, only thing changed on it was battery, since original died like two years ago. So yeah, I would really not recommend getting it today, but if you got one you can install custom ROM on it and it will definitely work better than laggy old touchwiz. I will also probably do that and use it as a backup phone. Overall, it seems unbreakable, and it's still going strong after like five years or something.

Purchased mine 2012, replaced the battery 2 years ago and it still works. Just make sure you're not installing too much apps and use old version of apps for it to run smoother.

Guys, don't buy this phone in this day and age. Mine's barely hanging on for dear life, it runs at a snail's pace, Chrome crashes every other time I open it, Messaging barely works. Not worth any miniscule amount of money it goes for.
