s2 plus doesn't have led indicator but one can use smart alert (phone vibrates if pickep up and there are missed events) or noled app that light a square on the screen. Being samoled display only the square is consuming energy.

Good phone.I got it 3 months ago.Works perfectly never hinders, powerful speaker and sound on headphones.Works perfectly never hinders, powerful speaker and sound on headphones.Android 4.2.2 and 1GB ram enough that the phone works nicely. I was playing demanding games all launched without crash.My recommendations for that phone.

I had original s3 mini and it was giving me headache with its pentile matrix display. I've returned and bought s2 plus and I didn't regret at all. Sound on s2 plus is not so bad as you think

There is no financiar gain for samsung if they have had released android 4.2.2 for original s3 mini. They prefer instead to release a similar or identical phone (see i9505 vs i9515) with the new android version. This will bring money to samsung

Moreover, original s3 mini was launched with android 4.1.2. Can you guess which is its current android version? Yes, it's still android 4.1.2. Don't expect for a android version update on s3 mini ve.

I want to buy new phone,but I' m confused - my choice is between this unit and samsung galaxy s 2 plus,pls help me.I heared that s2 plus will not receive any update even 4.2.2 JB,but this mini 8200 came in my country with exactly 4.2.2 android.which one is better? Thanks in advance!

s2 plus has very low ring and speaker.
Does this phone is the same as s3 mini ? (for the loudspeaker ,ring , music audio) and the same battery standby hours?

music audio quality is great. call quality is decent but the speaker is not loud enough. The phone battery can last about two days on low usage. A day on moderate usage.

How is the audio and the speaker of this phone?
and how about the battery? how long can it stay standby if you use it only for 1-3 calls(small duration around 5 minutes)

This version is way faster than the I8190
it's as fast as the galaxy nexus according to antutu
graphics performance is decent too but don't expect to run demanding games smoothly
