is this phone better than the n85 and n96 and why? in terms of user friendliness and continuous enjoyment as well as multimedia quality, is this phone better?

is this phone for boring people? i think the 2 colour theme makes the phone look really boring compared to nokias great colorful themes. if this phone had a theme like nokia it would totally rock but for now it looks crap.

Hi all, anybody experienced this, my i8510 is behaving strangely recently, when i wake up in the morning i find my phone turned off and no way to turn it on, and when charging it shows me a waiting indicator lasts long then continues charging , may be this caused by the usb charging which cannot be turned off optionally .

actually samsung's pc suite isnt as good as nokia's pc suite.
whenever i try and update the firmware, it fails at 36%.
any remedies for this?

Please help. If i buy an unlock phone, will it work with any carrier like AT&T. Will this phone only work with certain OS and Browser? Thanks for any help.

thanks for sharing ,i will definitely try what u have told.
I dont have this phone ,but i plan to buy it & i was not getting a straight answer for my question from anywhere or anyone.I know that c905 also has the same thing but i got to know that we can put a password/code on it to lock it even when slide open.But it is not on my wanting list any more ,but no 1 seemed to know about samnsung innov8.

I was n82 owner n now i own innov8,love this multimedia monster..samsung also has software updater like nsu..but now in some country..soon rest of apac,mea

Hi,this is my 1st samsung ph. I never used any brand as SE,LG,I m nokia fun. I used nokia 6680,6288, 6500 slide, n70,n72,n73,n81,n91,n95, at last n95 8GB. But most of them i was happy with n73, n95 8GB. Last month i was going to n96. But i m so much upset when saw my frend n96 was poor build quality,bettary. Ram. I know that nokia is good brand. So i never change my nokia. But nokia going down. Bcz they dont improve there quality,mostly build quality. We know n95,which make a rebulation in mobile market for specification. But bettary? Build quality ? So poor. Whatever. We was happy with n95, its also best seller. N95 8gb improve,but not improv so much. I thought n96, will over develop . But it also poor as n95. Old 5megap camera,no xnon flash.. Poor bettary,quality. But now samsung i8510 come to new way in mobile market. Supurb camera,best music,good build quality,loud speker,good bettary. Than i change nokia to samsung. Nokia n85 is good,but old specification. I m so happy in SAMSUNG i8510 INNNOV8..U also?

I've got a N95 8gb and a N82, then I've bought an Innov8, I've never had a cell phone so crap like this. Eberything fails in it, camera lens protections locks, sometimes just don't ring a call, RAM is really little, there are many little craps using its RAM. Who said it runs DivX? GPS is so poor. Only Nokia is Nokia, you can't put a Lamborghini's truck on a Fiat 500.

..joey.., 29 Jan 2009..hvin sum software glitches lyk all ov a sudden..in the ve... moreThat sidebar is exactly why i left orange uk cause of the sidebar,,i hated it,,,i use only blank screen showing screensaver /wallpaper to make it feel more like a normal fone..The only way i can help is to search to find out if its a common problem..The innov8 is to get at least another 2 updates yet and a site has been set up to report what does not work on the innov8..What i say to last sentence is "stuff that" stuff should work,, ,," its series 60 and samsung should co-operate with nokia more ""However" apparently its this feature pack 2 thats causing problems..Some softwares that seem to be free are being rejected by this feature pack due to being compatible with microsoft servers,,thats wat ive heard ...So the software needs to be upgraded but somewhere along the line symbian is becoming part of the open alliance ..????
Tommorow i will use sidebar and see if i have any probs and remember it took months to sort out the n95-1 and since this is even more advanced and the most up to date series 60 feature pack 2 device it seems to have some probs..I hope they institute on page demanding which enhances battery life and ram but out of box its not doing bad..
The i7110 that chap was on about still has no info on it yet and is only mentioned on all about symbian site cant find out else yet,,could they cancel it???

..hvin sum software glitches lyk all ov a sudden..in the vertical standy mode,if i press in any other direction othr than the right,then the screen jus sorta keeps on reloading itself..but it stays fine in the othr standby modes..very weird n annoyin..startin 2 feel a bit fed up wid dis fone..sum1 pls help..brynn,cmon man,help out a bro here will ya..

i have the innov8 and you connect using samsung studios 7. it works just like nokia pc suites. it even has an update option

Although I find it great, the battery is awful! The worst ever. Also, there is no DataTransfer application and I still cannot connect it to my PC.
