Does anyone know the site can update Phone software from Samsung? I know Nokia can connect to their web site and upgrade the software of Nokia Phone. Does Samsung offer this?

Anonymous, 17 Oct 2008Simich, The first camera phone was a Sharp. The first... moremate i meant the first models with integrated memory more than 2mb which were samsung x100,x600 with around 8mb ... anyway if it hasnt been first its been one of the first...but u got my point anyway ;)

Major design fault with this phone !!!!! the slide mechinism on the phone is tucked in behind the screen and its seems to fit it in theres a hole in the back of the screen u wouldent notice it without looking really hard with the slide open and the phone on i work in a phone store and was made aware of this by a customer the problem is that dust get into the screen really easy !!!! just a warning to anyone thinking of buying one you have been warned shame cuase its a really good phone ...........

Seeing as this phone uses exactly the same operating system as the Nokia phone's it shouldn't be too hard for Samsung to implement a 'wizard' type program for Internet connectivity bearing in mind you only have to enter the information once.

You need to input everythign yourself which is not that a big deal. I use my Nokia phone to look at the set up and copy to my Samsung phone. But about intenrnet I have one provider but after I set up it show another provider name. Samsung Center in Thailand told me that problem with software and they will have new version.
I am not srue when it show the another provider does it really using my provider or using the porvider it show on phone. Otherwise the phone is great.

can anybody tell me bout the Internet on this phone? I see a few comments say that it doesnt auto set up for the Internet and if it does it will show different provider name.and the email too, it doesnt auto set. Can anyone who the phone please try n tell me bout this. Does the phone support flash lite? Please please help me I really really want to buy this phone but want to know those problems first. Indeed a very fantastic phone. I have a samsung E250 but i wanted to shift to Nokia N95 8GB. After browsing Samsung i8510 INNOV8, it was pointless for me to shift. It's only that in our country ZAMBIA, it's not yet available. But once i chance it, i will go for it though the price rating is high. Am seeing myself to be a Samsung fan for life. Samsung, you are evolving with these two phones, Samsung i8510 INNOV8 and i900. You are the best so far. Keep it up. I like you????????

this phone is nice. i'm a nokia fan but don't get me wrong i didn't vote 1 for this. i like this phone, but a bit pricey ^^ costs me a month's salary. =P i'll just wait until price comes down.
