        Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hi Lamchop,

I have contacted Samsung and they haven't heard of that model or have any idea when it will be released. Its very frustrating when you read of such a great phone but can't find out of it's impending release date. Keep me posted if you wouldn't mind, I can't wait to get my hands on one...!!

sound of n91 has been replaced by this beauty even though the camera is not so good as it should be and head phones are amazing like bose but yes the ultimate entertainer has arrived

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2008can i know about this phone's battery? i read some comments... moreIn response to a few comments:

            - the phone battery has a lot of bars so it appears sometimes to go down quite quick. This phone will last a whole day / two days being used heavily, for me that is music, camera, satnav, calls and texts. For normal phone useage, its a good battery lasting a while.

            - How can you ask if this phone is getting a "diet" soon? It would be pretty hard to reduce the size whilst keeping the great screen size. Its not fat, a very thin phone for what it has, much better sized than te n95 / n96.

megaflow, 13 Sep 2008I agree, the battery is cr#p!!!! I have to charge it VERY D... moreIt is because your inbox is full, but its your SIM CARD inbox. What you do is go to menu - messages - click options - sim messages, and then delete them all. Fixed it for me.

If not, put your sim in another phone and clean out everything uneeded. With older sims, they sometimes have issues with havin a full phonebook.

oh damn. i love this phone. just a little worried about the symbian os cus i heard alot of negative stuff sbt the nokia and the os. but anyway i still like this phone. but damn the local samsung people. they had an online booking until 14th of september initially. and today they extended it to 21st of september. and stated there "due to popular demand". but knowing the local singaporeans well. its probably not due to popular demand. they are probably not getting enough damand for this phone here. well. i dun see any advertisement abt this phone around. except once in the newspaper. so now i have to wait again. for another week. i cant wait to get my hands on it.

On my U600, flashing envelope means that the inbox is full. It could be the same on this one?

I have a Nokia N95 8GB right now and I think Samsung INNOV8 will be my next phone. I don't like the N96 as that doesn't have new additions from my current N95 8GB except the 16GB and DVB-H which is completely useless in my country.

Ok got one of these beauties to replace my now ageing nokia N95 read about it before release and was hooked, although a little complexing at first i soon found my way round the OS and to my dleight its very very similar in structure to my old N95. Its as though my Nokia has received a mighty kick up the ass and told to pull its socks up, This is a top class pjone that so far ceases to amaze me, BUT where is the manual ? at this time there is no manual either on the disc or on the samsung website or even in the box, so a lot of features are trial and error,

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I wish I was being paid by Samsung. Ever heard of Google? all the information I posted, I simply searched on google. Aside from the info I gave on going into a store and checking the product out. You dont need to be a rocket scientist or work a for the company to figure out the release date of a popular phone.

I prefer the vision of n96, but still like this one too...
can't find big differences b/n cameras (as users quality)...

I got a chance to play with the Samsung i8510 innov8 today at the Capital Shopping Center In Tehran, Iran at the Samsung booth and I have to say I was very impressed. The handset was thinner than I expected. The built quality was superb and the response time for the menues was faster than the Nokia N95. The camera quality was on par with my Canon snapshot 7.1mp digicam. I didn't get a chance to shoot video with it, but from the sample shots I saw on Youtube it looks perfect. It will officially be released in Iran in a couple of weeks for the price of 800,000 Toman (813 USD) for the 16gb version.
