"n96 was an acomodation 2 the n95 8gb" . So then why isn`t it called N95 16GB ??? Get it boy N96 is another phone . Still unreleased but announced not like your photoshoped N98 .Where do you get your pot from ?

Phone is not released anywhere in the world and yet there is already 3153 votes on this handset including performance?? What is wrong with you people, at least use the thing before you vote on it! hahaha
I hope this is not going to be like their G810 which I have been waiting to get hold of in the UK since April! The only good thing about the G810 not being released in the UK is the fact this this phone came along and blew the G810 out of the water - sweet!

Nice phone though huh! Shame Samsung announced it as being released in Europe in August butI have a sneaky feeling that we will not see it till September if we are lucky. No mention of it on any of their websites but they have the Omnia on there and that was annouced ages ago now. Time will tell!

just saw its sample take on the video department from mobile-review and i have to say it's quite disappointing. it pales in comparison with n95/lg viewty on this department. i hope the retail version does much better...much much better

perhaps the best camphone ever produced. the pics were way beyond better compared to the ones shot with se c905. but i think it could have been much better had samsung used the carl zeiss optics in their lenses. but really, the best so far as camphones are concerned.

For those who say this is a COPYCAT of N95, I would say this is how the N95 Successor should be, rather than the N96.
Ironic but True.
N96 doesnt bring much 'upgrade' to the original N96 except for DVB-H and 16GB and still same camera. Just like N95-8GB bring more disk space but the handset index number doesnt increase.
So, N96 should be N95-16GB instead. And this INNOV8 is the true successor of N95-8GB.
I dont prefer Samsung or Nokia, I just like Symbian =)

I like to see Nokia's fanboy fanatics get intimidated when they smell competition. They always resort to their short bias favoritisms to justify their opinions of opposing products. In contrary to ones belief, Samsung is ahead of Nokia and other manufactures in terms of implementing features into cellular devices. For example, (not to exclude the Sony-Ericsson C905) Samsung has a visible 8 megapixel cellular device among us in the innov8, however Nokia doesn't even have an announced phone in their portfolio that can compare in terms of pixel count. Fanboys just sit there in abyss, and hope that Nokia reveals this magical 8 megapixel phone that is justifiable to even stand next to the innov8. To further prove Samsung cellular capabilities, I want EVERYONE to look up the Samsung SCH-B600. It is a 10 megapixel camera phone with an optical zoom that was announced 2yrs ago in 2006. So in theory, the innov8 is actually downgraded in terms of pixel count.
Despite what may seem biases towards Nokia I am a fan, Im just not a fanatic.

samsungs really showing nokia up this year as the n96 was announced in febuary an still not available yet,they were trailing samsung with the touchscreen mobiles so were more concerned about releasing there mobile as quick as they could so the n96 will be a waste of alot of time an money from nokia as the i8510 will be out selling the n96 very easily an nokia won"t have there 8 mega-pixel camera mobile ready about xmas time so the i8510 will be out selling nokia this time

Found these comparison shots between i8510 vs n82 cameras. Seems like Samsung did well under very bright settings, but failed miserably in a few indoor and other shots. Curious to see a c905 vs n82/i8510 shot comparison.

I`ve been reading your comments for quite some time now and i`ve noticed some very disturbing things such as :
1) Nokia fan-boys do not know how to take a hit .I bet none of them has more then 13-14 years .Nevermind flamers just keep on waiting for your 8 mpx cam from Nokia . It should be arriving next Christmas or this Christmas or how knows ?and how cares ? so can i get a JINGLE Bells from ya :))
2) Sony-Ericsson fan-boys are much more peaceful .Maybe because SE already has an 8 MpX in his portfolio .But that doesn`t stop them from acknowledging that INNOV8 is a good phone .
3) Samsung fans just like to brag with the INNOV8 . And why shouldn`t they ? It`s pure perfection . And the cam OMG it takes wonderful pictures and high quality videos .
4) Moto fan-boys . Well haven`t seen any :))
