This phone doesnt use LED flash but Dual LED flash which is almost equivalent to Xenon.....
Cheer up guys Xenon consumes more battery power than LED....
For me Dual LED flash is no probs

Why are most people so obsessed about Xenon flash? I actually see no practical use of Xenon flash at all. Any type of flash in a camera will do, whether it's a LED, a florescent lamp or a even a flashlight!

hmm since this has a graphic card and a supposedly fast processor(whter it wil befasfter than the core 2 duos of nseries king and queens...we dont know yet)
it will probably not have a slow...camera interface...it will probably hava a smooth one just like in n95 ^_^

I like to see Nokia's fanboy fanatics get intimidated when they smell competiton. They always resort to their short bias favoritisms to justify their opinions of opposing products. In contrary to ones belief, Samsung is ahead of Nokia and other manufactures in terms of implementing features into cellular devices. For example, (notto exlude the Sony-Ericcson C905) Samsung has a visible 8 megapixel cellular device among us in the innov8, however Nokia doesn't even have an announced phone in their portfolio that can compare in terms of pixel count. Fanboys just sit there in abyss, and hope that Nokia reveals this magical 8 megapixel camera phone that is justifaible to even stand next to the innov8. to further prove Samsung cellular capabilities, I want EVERYONE to look up the Samsung SCH-B600. It is a 10 megapixel camera phone with an optical zoom that was announced 2yrs ago in 2006. So in theory, the innov8 is actually downgraded in terms of pixel count.
Despite what may semm biases towards Nokia, I am a fan, I am just not a fanatic.

And why does this need to record in AVI format? That format is so old and near obsolete its scary.
Who cares if Nokia bring out an 8mp phone? This is about the Samsung Innov8!!

This phone could totally blow Nokia out. Nokia? I never heard any 8mp phone from Nokia so far and even he did, I will never be the 1st to try it to prevent sucks experience as my N95. I trust in samsung thats becuz every from we seen was a phone that been using by Korean at this moment. heard that korean is using 10mp phone now.

@ Anonymous - Don`t get me wrong N95 was a revolution and still is a good buy but we need to move on but i guess that is not Nokia`s strategy ,they just like to squeeze all the money they can using the same technology over & over & over ... You get the point .

I am a total Nokia fan, as I've had an N95-1 for over 13 months, but I have to say I'm pretty sure I'd prefer this over the N96.
It's quite true; the N96 is far from an upgrade over the N95/N95 8gb. All is has is 8 more gigs of memory, and DVB-H.
I agree, it should just be the N95 16gb.
Well, it pretty much is.
I'm so disappointed in Nokia, and so amazing by Samsung.
I want to know if the INNOV8's camera interface is slow, though.
Every Samsung that I've ever seen, with any resolution camera, had a slow camera interface.
I doubt this one will, though. I hope not.
What kind of processor does it have? Anyone know?
Does the N96 not have Geo-tagging?
The N78 does, so I always thought the N96 did, too.
The MWC 2008: Nokia overview says the N96 has Geo-tagging...
