I had this phone for week and finally decided to traded-in with android phone. H/W is really good but the windows phone 7 OS is just like an unfinished painting. Im not impressed at all, even just a simple USD mass device support is not as easily available like the previous windows mobile or android.. i think microsoft is trying to imitate the style of apple but omg, apple is apple.. microsoft do it your way uniquely and easier for end users.. dont be a copy cat... finally finish the painting first...

I notice that this phone has the Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor whereas the LG E900 Optimus uses the more recent Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8650 1 GHz processor. Are there any differences between the two and which one is better?

Anonymous, 16 Nov 2010Way, way, way too big. Did the idiots who designed this not... moreThe cost of a large, beautiful, easy to view screen is the size of the overall handset. The real estate is actually managed very well, as the screen extends to the very edge of the chassis, and it is very thin.
After all what's the point of a touch screen if it's tiny?

Way, way, way too big. Did the idiots who designed this not realise it will mostly be kept in your pocket?
What m0ron wants to walk around with a huge slab bulging out of their pocket? Seriously, I despair at times...

One thing I found really interesting (read: idiotic) is that you cannot yet sync your outlook with the phone.
You read that right. Cannot sync MICROSOFT OUTLOOK with WINDOWS 7 PHONE.
I had sold my first W7 phone and told the customer yea, you can do that. Admittedly I had made an assumption, based on common sense.
Turns out common sense ain't so common anymore, because the customer was back in my store trying to figure out why she couldn't.
So I called Samsung. "No", I was told, "can't do it". I was like wtf. The rep explained it was a known issue however no ETA on an update or if it will be updated at all.
Apparently there's a workaround, if you set up a hotmail address and sync it to your outlook, THAT can be used with your windows mobile to send and receieve to your outlook contacts. But it all seems a bit far fetched in the stead of a function that should be the bread and butter of the phone.
To reiterate, WTF?
