I sometimes wonder why samsung haven't pushed this phone as much as some other comparable phones out there (iphone). Even with some soon to be out phones like nexsus, the omnia hd specs wise is still superior, and with support and multiple carriers globally i just can't imagine another phone currently out or soon to be that can beat it. Maybe samsung sees problems i don't or maybe i need to run their marketing team. btw i said this objectively so if anyone thinks otherwise then please enligthen me

i hav omnia hd and my brother has n900... i really like to tell u which one is better...
both the phone r right now in my hands....
omnia hd vs n900..... ( both r the best phones..)
weight doesnot matter... omnia hd weight is 30 g less than n900 but it doesnot really matter... wat matters is is how slim is the phone... omnia wins in slimness...
omnia hd has 3.7" amoled screen... and this screen is thousands times more better than 3.5" screen of nokia.... also omnia hd hs capacitive while n900 hs resistive... resistive is shit as compared to capacitive...
both hav same processer... and same ram... n900 is fast but that fastness is 1 percent more fast...
camera of omnia kicks ass of n900... we all know that...
web browzing in n900 is good as compared to omnia hd... but but but... if u will web browze in omnia bia opera 10 then web browzing is 10 times fast and with kinetic scrolling... as kinetic scrolling is always better in capacitive is better then web browzing is also good... also web browzing speed
in omnia hd via opera 10 is faster than n900..
so omnia hd is better than n900...
also there is firmware cumming which will enhance spped of hole divice... giving kinetic scrolling to phone... in music and web browzing too...

im using n73 right now, but heard even 8910i is a symbian too.....
so just wanted 2 know, is the interface similar 2 nokia symbian???
hows camera performance???? touchscreen feedback??? and finally the battery back up???

What I meant was there is actually an application or whatever it's called that gives a Window 7 outlook and able to operate it the hp just like Window 7 . Because of this software , alot of users including my bro thought OMNIA HD could run on Window 7 os . Its applicable to all Symbian S60v5 . In fact , there is a few such as MyPhone for Iphone-lookalike and also Android interface which makes your hp looks like HTC ( Sorry , no touch-flo interface ) . Just close the application and u r back to your original Symbian OS .

Guys , I just took my HD for service coz my motherboard or proccessor abit crazy , sometimes I cant detect the handset while plugging in to my comp recently . Jst found out from the technician at Samsung , there is common if u use your comp to charge the hp , seems the comp voltage is not stable and it tends 2 overload the proccessor or motherboard ( Forgot which 1 is faulty , sorry )... I am among 1 of those who charge my hp while I'm online using the usb cable

i am a real computer illitrate, how do you paste/copy helloOX2 to mobile, when tryin to install it shows certificate error.... freesigner was installed fine but not helloOX2. and another problem is the .cer .key i hav got. are the just icons u need to paste from pc tp mobile?? cause it only shows one of them in mass storage...no idea whts goin on...lol

The .cer and .key are year specific, the app which her had to change the date for doesnt need to be signed....its just that the developers certificate expired in 2009...the year had to be change from 2010 to 2009....but the .cer and .key from the opda site show the expiry date

Omnia HD cant hack Win7 or any other OS because of hardware Incompatibility. Maybe the Omnia HD turned Win7 you saw is only themes or modifications that makes it look like Win7, but it cant run Win7 applications. It sure really looks like Win7 but its still Symbian, just like what i did to my LG Renoir.

Hey guys, are the .cer and .key files that we get from opda, date specific? (rather, year specific?) i read a post below which says he changed his date to get it working..
