Go to http://cer.opda.cn/en 2. register f... morethe camera is the phone biggest issue....both for taking stills and recording HD video.....Samsung needs to tweak the camera to make the image output perfect and also allow flash for all camera settings(camera isnt only used during the day)....for recording the the frame rate needs to be fixed permanently....

    1. Go to http://cer.opda.cn/en

    2. register for an account(top left-hand corner)

    3. apply for a certificate(top left-hand corner,
    select "APPLY CER")

    4. Enter the Phone model(Samsung i8910 HD), phone IMEI(*#06#), In "Remarks" type "Samsung"

    5. Certificate will be ready in a few hours


    Krishna u will need this certificate to sign particular applications....

    6. Download "freesigner" app from http://gallery.mobile9.com

    7. install it on ur phone in the phone mass memory

    8. Download an app called "HelloOX2" from
    http://gallery.mobile9.com

    9. copy/paste "HelloOX2" to the phone mass memory

    10. Get the .cer and .key files(which u applied for) from http://cer.opda.cn/en and save it on u PC.

    11. copy/paste both files from PC to phone mass memory

    12. now open the freesigner app, go to options, then settings

    13. in settings go to "sign cert" and go to where u copied the .cer file in the phone mass memory.

    14. go to "sign key" and go to where u copied the .key file

    15. go to "output directiry", then select "custom"

    16. Exit settings, the select "add task"

    17. go to the "E" drive to find the "HelloOX2" that u copied to ur phone

    18. Then Highlight the "HelloOX2", go to "options" and select "add"

    19. Go to "options" and then select "GO"

    20. Then go to the "C" drive of ur phone, then go to "FreeSigner" folder and install the new signed "HelloOX2"

    21. after u install "HelloOX2", go to "applications", then click on the "Gold OX"

    22. After files install, u will notice a "rom Patcher" in the list

    23. select the rom patcher and "apply" both patches and also set them both to "auto start"

    24. Now ur phone is hacked and u should be able to install any application.....

      even after i flashed i still had my Dict Icon....then i updated and its still there....plus i have hard reset on countless occassions and still it remains intact.....

        LOL it used to happen to me as well.....during the setup process with fring there is a section where u are asked whether u would like fring to start up everytime u turn on ur phone.....u need to untick that option and the continue so u may need to re-install the fring to stop that

          I have installed the fring (with video meant for the N97, doesnt really work well as u guys know) and this might sound really silly but everytime i switch off and switch on my phone, it automatically starts fring! any idea why that's happening? and what can i do to prevent that?

                  bro that means u have to hack ur phone like i did.dnt worry u ll not loose ur warranty in hacking ur phone or it will not damage ur phone,u must hack ur phone coz there r atleast 60% of apps n games in market which needs ur phone to be hacked so if u wanna enjoy them just hack ur phone

                      I downloaded all your dplendid apps... and many when i tried to install ,it shows certificate error... contact the supplier.... almost for many applications ..

                          I'm with the XXii2 latest Italian FW. I need dynamic canvas application which is present in samsung JEt model... will it work in omnia hd... if yes, kindly provide me the link to download..

                            xxx, 31 Dec 2009i flashed my phone 20+ times. The stock dictionary was dele... morexxx,

                            Is ur Dictionary icon still there in ur Office root folder?
                            If yes, all u have to do is to unzip those dat files on ur pc then copy/paste the folder named "PowerDicSymbianV9" to ur phone's mass memory root folder as descirbed in the manual available in that zip folder...
                            The dictionary is not a sis app and u cant install it...
                            I hard reset/format my phone like 5 times, did the procedure, and it got back from where it was without any issue(the icon remained untouched after hard reset or formating the mass memory before copy/paste). BUT as i didnt flash my phone yet, i dont know about the new firmwares...
                            If the Dictionary icon has been removed from ur phone that probably means they removed it from the certain firmware u flashed to!!!
                            Note that i downloaded those preinstalled apps from the samsung official site 6 mounth ago, but now they removed those apps! For what reason i dont know!!!

                            Ask Symbios if his Dic is still there or not

                                AGAIN, if theres no official update available for your country you wont be able to update it...
                                If u r from Dubai ur firmware ver. should be JVIF2 or 3 I guess and thers no update for it yet,
                                BUT you could FLASH ur fon to another firmware versions which updates already available for them...like the Italian, Russian, etc etc.
                                BUT doing so would void ur warranty(useless for me) and u may loose ur language pack...
                                U could ask or following the previous posts of some good experienced guys like Symbios here for help regarding the flash procedure,
                                Or, u could simply wait for this mounth(January) to get an official update as they promised,...like me ,LOL

                                  this fon has very good batt. bad recording vdeo sound will correct with fon's software update also the rest issues,
                                  Opera mini is buggy on this phone yes but did u ever tried the Opera mobile 10 ??!!
                                  Music quality, still/video camera are decent,...
                                  I would say, THIS PHONE WORTH FOR ITS EVERY SINGLE PENNY

                                      U have the N97 .txt file!?!?! Its not the same file for the ovi store trick! Its a different .txt file that i'm talking about! so if u reall have the one for the gaming platform then i'll get the path to copy it too!
