Most of the NOkia Apps work on this phone but u must first hack ur phone using an app called "HelloOX2"....after the app is installed and the patches applied u should be able to install the Oxford talking dictionary.....hope this was helpful!

Its a similar .txt file but it is stored at a different location in the phone memory, as u know by now, the phone must be hacked for any modds or changes to be made....i have changed my startup/shutdown mp3 files and also put in my own startup image so its really customised.....plus i'm using this pyuseragentswitcher so that i can use iphone/mozilla/IE/Opera browser interface on my phone simply by changing the useragent

Instead of first italian then new XXI2 is released. Pray that we are in first batch of official update. Sam has hook winged us, Unlike Nokia an update is universal not selective, and after one year past.

In this entire forum, u r only the second person to make mention of poor call qualitymy calls are loud and clear ppl next yp me can hear what and poor screen visibility under direct sunlight....i can see quite clearly whats on my screen in direct sunlight(u wanna know why?) because i dont have my screen brightness set to auto adjust....try it out....

Skyforce reloaded.....
I got a .txt file for N97 which basically allows the Nseries games to work on the i8910...i have since updated my phone to the XXII2 firmware and have lost this .txt file....it allowed me to download and install space impact for ngage, skyforce reloaded, star wars and fifa 2008(all full versions)....the fifa,star wars and space impact worked great but the skyforce wouldnt open....space impact is an amazing game sajad u should try it....i'll find the .txt file and post the link here....but Router burnt out so i have internet access now!

The latest firmware for now is XXII2....it has 3D multitasker, more stable web browser, faster UI, 5.1 Dolby Surround for loudspeaker(no headphones needed), camera features are the same as before, hacking/modding is still possible.....audio is great....but hopefully since Nokia will be updating the Symbian UI with the Kastor UI(which is a really cool, colourful and animated UI), i hope we too will get some sort of taste of the Update symbian when its developed

Been using it for around 5 days now.
I really don't like the fact that the screen becomes pretty much invisible under direct sunlight. So much for the beautiful screen. IMO AMOLED VS LCD sure led wins in first sight but you grow out. I rather have less crisp LCD from N97 and have sunlight visibility. Not much use if I can't read.
Also battery life quite short with around 30min of wifi usage. I have to recharge it at the end of the day.
Camera is rather slow upon shutter release.
Yup sound quality is crap. So much for HD recording.
Don't bother with Opera mini, extremely buggy on this phone.
Landscape orientation is not supported on home screen or memo/notes app. What the hell?
The phone is very slippery and grease magnet. Yes it not only attracts finger prints, it picks up all sorts of grease. Make sure you invest on good case which makes it bulky. So much for slim size.
Signal quality is also not great. Could have been much better. I thought my HTC HD was the worst. gees.
Call quality could be better. There are lots of static noise when someone speaks on the other end. Sounds like very high pitch trable distortion of some kind lol.
Packaging for the phone at this price=total crap.
All in all, get it if you like indoor geek want to watch movies on the phone. Otherwise, look something else.

hi thr... I had many probes with flashing of xxii1 and then again i reflashed it to old f7 Italian FW , and then now using the PC studio i updated it to XXII2 like yrs :-):-):-):-). Now i reckon its more stable...3d navi is thr,, retrieved my album art, added songs to my library, al my issues seems to be solved. Hope to stay with this FW for a long time as u said its best with least bugs.... and can u suggest me the major Advantages of this FW bro... U ROCK MAN!!!!!!!!! GREAT WORK SYMBIOS BRO!!!!!!! THANKS A LOT.................................

its v.sad to inform u all that symbios is no more,today in the morning police found him dead on the computer table with omnia hd in his hand.as per local he was trying to flash the phone but failed to do so.becoz of this failure he had heart attack and he died on spot.may god bless him and his omnia hd.

furthermore, the only downside of this phone is the camera functions. the camera is frustrating due to the bugs of the camera options. when you chose the scene mode, all the features like flash, face detection, brightness, ect. are disabled!!! funny
