just bought omnia hd... i dont know abt new software versions but this omna hd has software version 18910jvif6.... which one is this software.... and is there any new software out.... and if then plz let me know from where i can download that software... also the software cumming in jan will be released worldwide... or it will take time to release... actually i am in middleeast.. and i really want to know that it will release globally or not...

The in - ear earphones referred to above will cost you from GBP 50 TO 125. Bit Expensive but good things do not come cheap.

Try installing PC Studio on another PC and then update...if it gives same error then try installing the PC Studio off the CD u got with ur I8910 HD...
The screen shots show that u are able to get the updates but the error may be linked to the too updates i mentioned(.NET framework and visual c++) but first try it on another Pc the let me know what happens

Im smwht sure that FUS is available in that window as i didnt delete any modification after installing PC studio.
My scare is that what if i get the same crashing of Firmware updater once the global firmware comes nxt month. What am i supposed to do Symbios Bro.???

Microsoft has particular which needs to be updated to make use of certain programs....there is the .NET framework and visual C++ updates...this are both related to ur graphics driver....u may also need to ensure that there are no missing files in the PC Studio folder....also try finding the FUP.exe file in that folder if it doesnt exist then that could be ur problem....truste me krishna its nothing to do with the phone!

The firmware did not install at all and it is still in the old version only and im using windows xp home edition.
Im literally afraid that i'll be not able to update with the official Global firmware expected nxt month.
2nd time also i tried and got the same msg.. i've the screenshot of the actual msg..
