Well in my situation i used my original phone will i trained my battery....and no it wont damage the screen since its not a multicoloured display its only white...u dont have to train ur battery in dis fashion but i used to work for a telecommunications company so i learnt a few things about charging and discharging the battery,,

Thanks a million. I just bought this phone and it performs great. No hangs or freeze or lag. I am afraid something wrong after hacking. Honestly, I donno how to hack the phone too. Anyway, pls post any helpful advice regarding this great ph and I will post all my findings too.

1. U shouldnt use any functions while phone is charging(it is ok to browse through menu) and making a call while phone is charging is the quickest way to damage ur battery
2. when i first got my phone i added some apps and i used jbak taskman which has a setting which turns ur phone screen into a torch which is quite bright....so i turned that on and charged my phone
After it charged completely i left is for almost 6 days in standby until the battery drained completely...i charged it again with screen torch on...and this time it took 9 days to drain in standby....
Right now i'm able to use my phone regularly for 2-3 days straight(videos, calls, sms, pictures, web browsing downloading apps) before having to charge and up to 6 days(sms, calls, pictures and downloading apps)before having to charge....the last bar holds out the longest...

1: did u mean to say i should use only call function of my mobile r no function
2: stand by means not allowing phone's display light get switched off [ if yes than how i can keep the display light not to disappear] r does it mean i should not allow my phone to go to homescreen.

sajad, 17 Dec 2009rohit bro i m not able to understand ur and symbios tric... moreto tell u the truth, even i didnt intentionally do that.. when i charged my phone the first time, i was checking out its features.. so the screen was ON.. after a few hours i left the phone as it was charging till it charged completely.. since then i've had no issues with the battery..

charge ur phone with the screen set to full brightness and dont allow the screen to go to standby....when phone is fully charged just allow the battery to drain out on its own(dont use any features such as games/music/camera/video)repeat this twice....allowING the phone to drain on its own extends/prolongs the battery discharge time significantly....if u still have battery life issues let me know!
it's hard keeping ur hands off this phone especially when u first get it! But bare in mind this procedure gets u to keep ur hands on it alot longer in the end ;)

bro plz help i m not able to understand ur trick to enhance the battery life i mean can u make it simple,i m using b task man i dnt left any app open,i had switched wlan,gps etc etc off but still the first bar reduces only after 7 hours of stand by or 30 mins of talk time,only the last bar is the one which lasts for 1 and a half day for me,help

There is Opera MObile 10 beta 2 available its alot better than Opera mini 5....the last bar last atleast a day in truth...but keep charging phone only after battery is completely drained and i assure u the battery issue will go away...also as rohit mentioned...make sure all idle apps/features be turned off....like WLAN scanning, GPS Positioning, Edge/3G connectivity....also u can use both the jbak taskman app and the handy taskman app to keep an eye on any running apps....
