Hello. I am extremely disappointed with the battery life of this phone. I charged the battery like SYmbios told me to. At 11.30pm ystrday night, the charge was full. It's almost 6pm now and I'm down to 3 bars. Is that normal? I also read sumwhere that the last bar lasts for quite sum time...also, has anybody got a suggestion for a good internet browser?i tried opera mini 5 beta 2 and it is ultra slow. Opera 4.2 runs smoothly but it has got its disadvantages. Thanks.

Hi guys, this is not provocation, but i have few question for you to answer to me, if you can?
1. How is the battery live on this phone, is it better than nokia 5800xm or not?
2. Have the samsung release any better firmware for this phone, because i have watch few videos from this phone, and is skipping frames and distortion, the sound was not good at all, so have they fix this problems or not?
3. Does it get the dust inside the screen on this phone or not.
4. Does it happen any freezing's or network signal problems often or not, or it's stable as n5800xm, it's because i already have n5800xm and with latest firmware is very stable phone, it's just i feel it's to much plastic thing?
I em in Europe so i would prefer some European to answer my question because of differences between USA-EU networks please, and thank you in advance.

symbios, 16 Dec 2009Well Said broI have a question and challenge all in one.....i kno w this phone connects to a regular wireless access point but has anyone who uses this phone ever been able to connect to an adhoc wireless network connection(computer-to-computer)....and i'd like to pose a challenge....of all the great minds in this forum....i wonder who could get it too work first!!!!.....i completely understand how to set one up but the phone wont connect....

Hi,
i got this phone yesterday, i switched it off and then switched it on again and the screen froze on me, but i restarted it again and it was fine, is it normal or is it something i need to worry about? the other thing, if i download fring, would it be possible to use Wi-Fi to use fring? help would be appreciated, thanks

I will definitely do... moreand we guys check and post on this forum frequently.. so there's always someone you can ask if you need something or any sort of help :) i'm saying this because when i initially bought my phone, people like hamid, symbios, XXX etc and recently sajad and others helped me a lot! so dont hesitate to ask anything.. believe me i've asked dumb stuff ;) just try and read up this forum first.. plus, if u get some doubt, search in this forum.. a hell of a lot of things have been discussed..
and also, if you find something nice online like a good game or app or something which we all could use, please do post it here!

also, you might note that initially you'd get amazingly long battery life on the last bar of battery charge on the phone.. to maintain that, you should charge the phone the way symbios has mentioned.. if you go through this forum, you will find a lot of people admiring that last stick of battery charge.. and a few complaints from those who dont know when and how to charge their phones or who are unaware that there are open apps killing their battery life. My sincere advice to you would be to read atleast about 50-60 pages in this forum.. trust me it'll help a lot as you'll not only understand what is wrong in your phone, how to get things right but also good advice from people who've been using the phone for quite some time and also, in the process you'll come to know about the nice apps, games etc and where to find them.. oh, and congrats on your new omnia HD! enjoy!! :)

hope u enjoy these links....about the battery...at first use "DO NOT CHARGE" allow battery to drain...after re-charge handset with screen set to full brightness(try not to let screen go to sleep)...when fully charged allow battery to deplete and the charge normally...battery should now be trained to hold full 2 - 3 day charge and standby up to 6 days.....like mine! ;).... and as u know we here are always ready too assist....just asked hamid, rohit, XXX, Sajad or myself and u should get all u need

Hi to Symbios and all the regular ppl. I finally own this phone after a lot of research and savings. It's not even a day since I have used this. I will give my feedback 2moro. I just wanted to ask about the first battery charge. Shouldn't it be for 8 hrs? Also, it would be great if u could give me some links to download softwares, themes, games etc. Thanks a million. I... moreIts easier from PC then copied across...with the freesigner and the certificates u can sign any application on using ur phone(no more expired certificate errors)...so placed the cetificates in ur phone memory in a location u'll remember(like the "other" folder)....install the freesigner app on ur phone and before u actually sign anything...open freesigner, go to "options" then "settings" then go to "sign cert" then locate ur certificate in ur phone memory and select it....then go to "sign key" and the locate the key in the same fashion...in "settings' u can also change the path where the "signed" version of the apps are saved...after u make all the changes in "settings" click back select "add task" select the driver where u copied the "HelloOX2" highlight the app go to options and click "add" then select "options" then click "go"....now u can install HelloOX2 hack and just follow the other guides..
