It has NO voice dailing or smart dailing. Correct me if i am wrong. Most nokia phones have voice dailing, but you cannot creat your own voice. It's useless anyways.

Is their any upgraded ver as mentioned XXIIiE4 11thsept 09, needed and how, is their any improvement on existing one. Why is Sam releasing different for each region I dont understand, like Nokia is worldwide easy updated. My region is Pakistan as Iran etc. Awaiting anxiously. Sam is far behind, the symbian 5th ed is same as 5800 N97 no major different. Regret samsung poor service

BTW, i have no such issues whith the pc studio the only issue is whenever i click on update it says, "the connection between phone and pc has been updated...try it again after disconnect and reconnect the phone" do you get the same message? Or if ur pc studio doesnt respond at all make sure you uninstalled any nokia stuff from your pc before installing this pc studio...

Thats JVIF2 which has arabic language but not farsi, they look very similar but we have 4 letters more than arabic language...
i need the JVIF6... searched in google many times, but without any success :(
BTW, lets forget the farsi...i downloaded that rom flasher and those two files(part1/2) of the generic italian XXIG2, is this what should the phone be flashed to?
Anyways, i have no idea how to do that,lol...
I just installed that rom flasher but dont know what to do next :-?

This phone is a true multimedia phone!!! It has everything from great music,camera, videos, ect. It has smart search. It can read AVI files like a dream!!!! File Manager and file transfer are easy and fast (unlike iphone a pain in the ass lol). What i like most about this phone is the stereo surround speakers for playing movies. It sounds fantastic!!!!
There are many good apps and games out there. You have to know where to look for.

Dear OmniaHD users,
Im about to buy this ph. I know installing apps on symbian (not nokia somemore) is a pain! So, I won't install too much apps after I buy. So, I need to know, what are the features that this ph comes with:
1) what types of video format can this ph play? (for e.g. I can play all wmv on my current WinMo omnia)
2) does it has security features (guarding with password) for messaging, picture gallery etc?
3) does it have smart search for contacts like in Winmo Omnia?
Since I gonna change from WinMo user to symbian, I need to make sure I didnt make wrong choice . Help me pls. Thanks.

to view picture in fullscreen, you need to zoom in. You don't need zoom in if you chose Wide resolution when you take pictures.

Love this gadget so... morei talked to the samsung person when i bought my brilliant Samsung Omnia HD. they said that Samsung Malaysia will reduce their phones' price every 6 months. btw, i dont mind because Samsung Omnia HD is a worth-to-buy phone! hiks!

There r also ap set around , much cheaper but then their warranty is quite limited . Oh ya , do check carefully , seems if u buy original unit from FMG , Gramin is provided but most dealers replace the memory card with a normal 1 so no more Garmin 4 u .

Target to buy this Omnia HD next month. Love this gadget so much. Design, function and their AMOLED display attract me so much. Their CPU processor 100% same with iPhone 3Gs as well (ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX graphics).. Fuh..!!! Hope FMG (Samsung Malaysia dealer) can give little bit discount for Samsung Fans like me.. haha

im quite busy these days but im going to do this job ASAP
the language pack would good enough even if it could only be used as a farsi keyboard for writing farsi text anywhere(like web browser, sms, notes, etc) and i wouldnt bother if the phone's menu language will be only english(all i need is being able to type farsi anywhere...i dont need a whole farsi phone with farsi menu,...lol)
But dude, my problem is i want a genuine JVIF6 firmware ready on my pc on standby so that, whenever an official update would available(for god sake) someday, then i could reinstall it and update it via its own pc studio...or probably to get my warranty back to life if needed??!!!;)
