omer., 23 Nov 2009provided leather pouch??? i never got it and neither does i... moreI am not sure about the unboxing videos but here in India, every pack comes with a customised leather case\pouch (whatever you may call it) in which the phone just perfectly fits in.
Great that I don't have to carry a bulky third party accessory coz the case is as sleek as the phone.

friends, my problem with the phone is that it gets stuck sometimes and is slow. and it does not show history list of the ppl you sent mesgs to...and i am also waitin for the official firmware.

I believe that the flashing process might be a bit different considering that this phone is running symbian opposed to windows mobile on your Omnia (I900).

The N73 headphones are really neat, much better than the N95 retail headphones, but how could u tested it while it doesnt have 3.5mm jack??

Hi,
I've been using this Omnia HD i8910 since last 4 months.
i found nothing wrong wit it....except SOUND 1st. Headphones which comes with this unit are normal and there is a lack of bass effect. when you turn that 5.1 surround ON, what it does is simply shuffles stereo effect and there is no punch in the sound. Bass is almost dead. NO SURROUND SOUND WITH 5.1 SETTING. To get best sound quality you need to set those sound presets to "Normal" + "Music clarity". I also found that if you hook up the Nokia N73's headphones directly to this phone....the sound is EXCELLENT.
there is no problem with the battery life, if really very good.
Camera quality is also very good.
I would say its a best phone if i ignore that sound quality drawback.

Hey Friends,
I require your help.
My screen has been showing some problems lately. Sometimes when I pull my phone out of the provided leather pouch or when the display times out & I bring back the backlight again (by pressing the menu key), I observe the colours on the screen are totally washed out. It is similar to if I throw water on a painting and the colours slowly drip down with the water, leaving behind streaks as they are washed and the painting gets spoilt.
However, when I press the lock key, lock my phone and then again unlock it (by long press), everything is back to normal. This doesn’t happen all the time but occasionally.
Has anyone else also observed this or this is normal with touchscreens ? Please share your experiences or any other suggestions/ tips that you may have.

Rather wait till the 6.5 update is available. otherwise the Omnia HD smacks it left, right and center, that's once you've smacked on that HX (HyperX) Release firmware. I'm using HX 1.62. Currently working perfect for me.
