I am very greatful that you took out your time and replied to my length questions. It will be very helpful for me to finalise my new phone as I am about to buy one very soon.You were Specially dead on target about clinging the life on it so I guess let's not discuss dropping it any more.
Can you tell me how much did you pay for your handset and when and where. I have located a shop here in Mumbai which is ready to give it to me for Rs. 26500. Do you think it is ok or the prices are expected to come down after Deewali..??

Anybody successful in installing and working with VPN? I think Nokia VPN client not working with this phone. Which VPN client is supported? Any free VPN client supported?

A note of caution with the new Samsung touch phones...
they are very good but; there is NO voice recognition for your contacts list in bluetooth, it isn't totally handsfree like Nokias.
And, the alarms will only ring, they will not vibrate as well.

even with the russian or italy lastest firmware, the phone still has problems with the video voice recording. it has hissing sound. When you flash your firmware, the dictionary and games got erased. u will never get it back!!!!!!!!!!!!! new italian firmware is slower than the original firmware.

Hey i8910 HD users,
I had the 8gb version of this handset but after i hacked it and started adding apps/avi movies and other media i was forced to buy a memory card quick...so guess what i sold it and today i ordered the 16gb version...I'll be getting on SAT. do as soon as i do same routine.....flash/debrand...update...hack....so till then i'm just waiting!

its amazing i looked at samsung ultratouch and the lg gd900 crystal and they also have 8mp camera as well as this, i find it interesting how this is so expensive compared to the other phones that have the same camera, yes i know the spec's are different but to me i think samsung can lower the price if they wanted to, but the demand for this is hot and so until the demand dies down then the price wont drop which is why im thinking of buying the lg gd900 crystal till the price goes down on this phone, im currently using the samsung innov8 and honestly im wanting something different but within a certain price range
