Does this phone has kinetic scrolling like iphone?and unlike other phones why this phone is not so common? Stil not in maldives.i am still waiting for this phone. This phone is better than n900. Its omoled big screen.camara features.capacitive touch.battry life and more...... All these r better than n900.nokia should work v hard to compete samsung.they are more advanced.can any body give me a reply for my 2 question?pls reply

i heard that omnia hd is the last s60 phone from samsung,,,seems symbian future not bright...also windows mobile will stop until 2012..the last winmo is winmo 6.5,,next will based on windows 8 (pc based transform to mobile)
nokia decide to developt their maemo (linux based ui) in their n900, and samsung touchwiz 3.0 will based on linux too,,and it will be open os like other os,,samsung prefer to developt their touchwiz and google android (OHA),,as we know Samsung also founded the OHA while sony ericsson/lg just 3rd participant/licensor...
i prefer to use touchwiz ui...simple fast colourful and practically great ui......(f480 then s5230 then jet) and i satisfied,,symbian seems immature touch os,but their s60v3 (nontouch) has the best operational keys ui...

Hello Hamid. Just follow these easy steps and your phone will be updated in seconds.
Take your phone and hit it as hard as you can on the wall and it should work.
If that does not work go on top of a high building and throw it to the ground.
If that too does not work then take a hammer and smash it to pulp. This should definitely make it work.

I just put in the battery charge that was initially there in battery. That is I am yet to do a full charge on the battery. I want drain out the existing battery before doing my first charge
FYI: The battery is hanging on for on 1 bar. All mobile companies retain some amount of charge in their batteries. So that is the charge I am running on. It is close to 24 hours now. In these 24 hours I might have played with phone for atleast 10 hours atlest. (PLAYED: made / receive calls, exchange smses about 20 of them, listen to FM, listen to music, watch videos, click photos, record video, play with settings, browse the internet with GPRS and WIFI)
I hope this info. helps. I believe the battery life is a little above average. I should be able to report in 3 - 4 days.

I have a problem with the video recording, when I record and reproduce the device works well but when I transfer pro Pc recording is muted, not have any sound completely dumb, and I checked the recording setup.
Can anyone help me?

This Phone is good but the only problem is this Phone is you cannot do vidieo call to U.S.

Is there kinetic scrolling like samsung jet ???... I don't really like the symbian method of scrolling.
And how's about it's battery life? I thinking of buying this amazing phone..

I bought the 16 GB version of this phone in INDIA.
I have used the phone for all about 4 hours, I love every bit of it.
Quick UPDATE: Speed Dail feature exists on my phone. Camera/Video recoder is just too good. I just took some picutres with different settings and recorded 1 video. Was mightily impressed.
Connected using my WiFi connection at home, connected seamlessly.
GPRS was also good. Speed better than my previous mobile. I am yet read the manual
My Opinion:Features wise this is simply unbeatable. I waited for about 8 months for this phone, but I know now it is surely worth the wait. I AM LOVING IT.
