Samsung i8910 Omnia HD

Bought the Omnia HD but returned it after 3 days. Here are some things that was bothering me with it;
1. Scrolling was not as easy as other phones, which really gets annoying when searching through music and the menus.
2. 1 click, 2 click for items is not a great feature.
3. Texting was meh. I did a comparison against the iphone 3gs and no matter how hard I tried to be imprecise, my notes and messages on the iphone were spelled right. Wow, apple.
3. WHERE THE HECK IS THE VIDEO EDITING!? I have been searching for hours on the thing, even the person who sold it to me couldn't find it, yet, Samsung claims to have it!
4. GPS navigation system is not user friendly. First you have to download maps, traffic, alerts, etc, and you can't do all that stuff until you do something else and arGH! vERY TIME CONSUMING. which is time consuming and you can't do anything else. I had verizon and their gps was all set up from the get go.
5. Samsung Support is non existant at least in the USA. Meanwhile folks like Sony, Nokia, and Apple offer help.
Other than that, the phone is alright, especially the camera. the flash works great if the subject is near by, but far away objects, forget about it.
So I took it back. I hope someone can tell me where the video editing is, or samsung will listen. All I can hope for is the Satio or give the N97 a try. I was really rooting for Samsung.

This phone is Horrible! I am a samsung fan when it comes to phones but this phone has to be the worst touch phone I've ever had. It constantly freezes every 3 minutes. I have updated the new firmware and all its just horrible.

has anyone ever used www.configuremyphone.com apparently its us, australia and uk company that if you need to figure out your internet, email or mms settings this site sends a text to your phone once you fill in your phone information and they only charge $2.50 thats cheap compared to other sites ive seen want $10-20 for this service. im just wondering if anyones used the site and how their service is?

Gsmarena don´t just repeat what the manufacturer says. If you do a review write the true specifications. This phone doesn´t record HD videos at 24 fps. it do it a 22,98 fps. You should help us to make a right choice.

I want the phone but I might wait for the SE Satio as it has a 12 megapixel camera with Xenon flash unlike this one which only uses LED. And I heard it's gonna be a gaming phone that can handle heavy graphics. And the design is sleeker... I guess I'll just have wait..

Is video ringtone supported with this phone? It's a S60v5,so it should support them,I had Video ringtones on my 5800XM,so why not HD?

Samsung Omnia HD or the I8910 as it is known here in the UAE is available in Dubai for about a month now in Jumbo Electronics, Plug-Ins and Carrefour for 2890Dhs for the 16Gb unit. 8Gb not available.
