..i received mine from pixmania 2 weeks ago and i absolutely entertained by its features, the screen is brilliant, the movie video and music is awesome, the camera and video cam is just amazing. i'm not that techie person, and i dont even know how to use its full features but who cares. i'm more on multi media features of the phone, and dude i just love it. the basic features is easy to use, the phone call is clear,texting is excellent thanks to its touchscreen responsiveness(which is quite sensitive) and full querty features. i showed it to all my friends and they all love it, and they r planning to buy it once will be available sim free in UK. the phone size is not too bad, its a bit long but not that bulky in the pocket (unless ur wearing a superslim jeans),and its quite slim. the size and weight is actually perfect to hold, its not too long not too short, not too bulky and not too slim, not too heavy and not too light. at least ive got all in one amazing device, and i coudnt ask for more, i love the screen, which is perfect for viewing everything, the stereo sound is great if not perfect, loud, clear and crisp thanks to its two speakers, and the hi def video cam is just extraornaire..now tell me please which mobile can beat this amazing beast.

The image is superb, but in terms of responsiveness the iphone is far much better. Besides, I'd like the Omnia to have the same type of zoom as the iphone, instead of the scroll bar...

I am unforutnate as I read that this phone was available in Jumbo and stock over. Well I will try calling Eros and Jumbo daily to see when next lot comes up.

does omnia hd support flash ????
i bought omnia hd yesterday, i was surfing the internet and some videos in the websites requested flash player to operate it, youtube is working but some images not appear due to unavailability of the flash player. Any one help ??

To "mo": the camera is good outdoors and with quite a lot of light. Otherwise, forget it. Those 8mp are for nothing. As I said on previous posts, if you are really interested in photography, buy a proper camera or be disappointed.

boy, 19 Jul 2009samsung is going to re-launch omnia hd.my question is.Did t... more The hardware will remain the same.
The software however will be more optimized for the s60v5 UI and it will hence run much faster and smoothly.
Majority of the bugs have been fixed, and the Web-browsing experience has improved dramtically.
When the Samsung OmniaHD re-launches it will come with a new Firmware vi8910XXIG2 which also improve the HD recording significantly, it now will record audio in high quality AAC format as opposed to the horrible AMR format previously!
Samsung didn't want to cause hassle by just releasing an update so they have decide to just re-launch the handset. So all handset ship with the new improved Firmware.
Also many countries will stock the sim-free, unbranded version of the OmniaHD on August 1st including United Kingdom. (which has only got the Orange branded handset available currently)
