There is an FM transmiter, but it only works with the headphones on...Anyway, you can install Last FM and listen to it through the normal speakers.
BTW, the picture quality indoors is very, very poor. Do not have great expectations. Outdoors, on the other hand, is great.

No fm transmitter its not activated by samsung lol thats why i did not buy this phone.

Compared to the iPhone 2G I am still using, the N97 is the worst one in touchscreen usability. The LG has problems with my contact datas, the Omnia seems to be the one which comes to iPhone closest

does omnia hd have FM transmeter?its the only feature that i cant see in its full specs.why samsung missing this feature.its cool feature.omnia hd is the best phone i ever seen.I am not a samsung fan.but now i am going to be a fan of samsung.cause they they are more advance than nokia and sony.i will buy omnia hd when it arrives asia .I love it for these reasons
1) 3.7 inch omoled screen
2) capacitive touch
3) its 8mp cam.and HD video
4) cool web browser
5) fast GPS signal lock
6) symbian platform
7) video editing
8) good look
9) 256 ram
10) 600mhz processor

hey guys out there..im in a dilemma.please help me guys..I am wondering to buy Nokia N97, Samsung Omnia II or Samsung Omnia HD??
Im using N95 for 2yrs plus and im sick of it!
I need a phone with good web browsing,with FM radio and good functions..please help me choose because I want to decide by 1st August when Omnia HD comes out in Singapore..
so please tell me guys..Should i buy Nokia N97, Omnia II or Omnia HD?
(According to GSMArena,Omnia HD have the best ratings though).

i say if its your 1st phone or if u do not know much about a phone go for the iphone as the omnia is much more high tech and more complicated just like a pocket pc. The iphone is more like a toy and very easy to use and anyways sum1 yr age might find it a bit bulky. For me as i am a phone fanatic and a symbian lover il go for the omnia when it arrives in my country. I feel the iphone is just for apps and browzing the internet. The omnia is an all in 1 device.

I can't choose between the 3G S an... moreIf i was in your shoes i would get the i-phone,,its so much more involved with all at your fingertips,,my goodness lad you are lucky to have a chance to own one..Its also going to be round for ages the omnia will be yesterdays news in a few montha..In end its up to you but at 14 and the i-phone being touchscreen gaming device,,i-pod audio thousands of apps that work and are tested to work on i-phone against omnia go and look for.sis apps that may or may not work i-phone wins..

BTW, I have the OmniaHD, but, if I were your age, I'd definetely would go for the iphone.

hey ppl.im a big fan of this phone and have eing waited since 16th feb for the phone.well.all i need is a answer for my question.the phone plays back 1280 x720 videos rite?well.i means i have being downloading all the music videos to put into this phone when i get it(1st aug).so the size i convert the files are all 1280 x 720.so it will play properly in my future omnia hd rite?just curious to noe.hope to c a a answer asap..pls answer me ..thx

Amazing, simply amazing phone. I just read that n97 and 5800 xpress music are Uk top seling pohones. Are people crazy or just stupid??!!! This phone (i am proud owner of one) is HARD KILLER of Iphone, Nokia N97!! I had my hands on nokia n97 and after using Omnia HD i can just say it is like comparing Ferrari 599 GTB to, Renault Clio sport. Just take a look on you tube. There is speed benchmark between this to phones. Omnia scored 506 and Noki 253. (higher is better), By the way if you want do install GARMIN MOBILE XT on your device, just search forum for installing GARMIN MOBILE XT 5.00.50 on symbian 5th edition. Amazing phone...
