the phones has been with orange for forever now...i check this site everyday awaiting a review. i also go to mobilecityonline everyday and the phone is under preorder only...now i look in the check list of gsmarena and i see mobilecityonline in the list. i'm not able to access the site but does this mean that the phone is now available for purchase....please please say yess!!!

damn! why is south africa so far behind in the mobile world! im on vacation here in london and am tempted to buy it now but im worried about its warranty.

I tested this phone in a store today. man o man. this is an amazing phone. beautiful looks. very responsive and superb video playback.
there are some issues due to symbian(which gsmarena also pointed out) but other than that it is so tempting. I don't hv the budget to update my i900 at the moment otherwise this would have been a definite buy for me. but maybe in some months when i can find it cheaper i go for it.
people who are against this phone must go and see it themselves to believe how good it is.

iphone has an immense number of applications. Can i get a decent amount of applications for samsung i8910 and nokia n97. Where do i download these applications?

is this true that after upgrading with new firmware you have to unlock the phone again? kind of same problem as iPhone, anyone knows?

I bought this phone a day ago and it is absolutely amazing!! I love it. I updated to a newer firmware via Samsung PC Studio 7 without a problem and audio issue was fixed in no time. I recommend to all of you that you buy this phone withou hesitation. You will not be dissapointed.

John, 13 Jul 2009The Omnia i900 program not same as Omnia HD. The Omnia HD i... moreits still officially called OMNIA HD in some parts of the world. As for mine, It says SAMSUNG OMNIA HD when u turn it on. I got mine in the 1st week of JUNE from ITALIA. Must say its an awesome handset with almost everything on board.
U can search the news regarding the name, they said dat it will still be called OMNIA HD in some countries where they marketed it aggressively!!!!!

To all the South Africans waiting for this phone, I phoned Samsung yesterday (again), and they told me that the phone is going to be released to the networks at the end of this month, then the networks have time to test the phone and decide whether or not they want to release the phone through their network, and those that do release it will do so by the end of September. It could be a bit earlier but it depends on each network.
