Anonymous, 07 Jul 2009the only great touch screen that i know of is the omnia hd ... moreI have one now for one week. If you want it o bad then you can order on line from Store like Plemix or others. They will ship to you over night.
The phone is great. But I a mnot sure still if Battrey life is okay or not. Plus stop using Nokia for now about 6 month and Omnia HD using Symb. OS. It seems like not as easy to do SMS as easy as Blackberry or Iphone. So, many steps to get the SMS out.
Anyhow the phone look good with a good Quality.

too much hype about the phone and its release date. By the time this unit is released world-wide, it will be history! Better to wait for SonyEricsson Satio or X2. This should be out by Oct.
Besides, the audio problem is worst than initially anticipated. Looks like Samsung is not even able to get the basic acoustics for this phone to work leave alone their ambition to charge a steep price for it.

Samsung has flooded the market with sooo many gr... morethe only great touch screen that i know of is the omnia hd and they have not flooded any markets with it, and the ones they put in the market are defective thanks a lot samsung maybe they bit off more than they can chew, those koreans can learn a thing or two from those guys in finland, if were lucky maybe they will be ready by december

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2009As far as I know it will be out at MTN at the end of JulyI have held back on my MTN upgrade since Feb this year...waiting for this phone... The advertising agency "Leegra" lied and gave me the wrong release date... I have since heard that MTN might not even promote this handset. They are slow on the uptake and even worse when it comes to good handsets... So, don't expect too much for the end of July!!!

Amazing... Samsung has flooded the market with sooo many great touch phones... THIS ONE stands out ,even better than the Omnia 2!
Its glossy finish, the HD recording and the screen is HUGE

Hi. I have a question ,specially to owners of this phone. I'm going to buy this omnia and i saw in reviews two differend kind of icons in menu. Is it just matter of themes and it's possible to change it or it's something else?

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2009wait i thought it had an HD screen ??? isnt it in its name... morewell it does record HD video, i never knew HD mean HD screen. and the screen is AMOLED, which is pretty sweet, and the screen is still larger and higher resolutions then the 3gs.i dont see the reason why are are grat that u got the 3gs instead of this
