Someone mentioned earlier that the Nokia N series or whatever series has realplayer also but can't playback .rm format. I don't have Nokia phone so I'm not sure, but isn't it impossible with a player that doesn't play its own file format? Like a mp3 player that can't playback mp3 file.
Can anyone confirm whether Omnia HD playback .rm or .rmvb file? I'm buying it anyway, just curious however.

Hi all.
Just to clarify, I found out about the $1,600 price from the basement Samsung shop (the big one) at Plaza Singapura in Dhoby Ghaut.
If I am not wrong, it is a official Samsung shop? They provide Customer Service, which only the official shops have. You can also try Omnia HD at the shop. I asked the staff about the price. They said it will be selling at $1,600 and will be out by the end of June in Singapore.
If it's true that it's going to be S$1,600, it's ridiculous, since even Nokia N97 is only going at $1,200, and that's with Comes With Music, without which, would only be S$1,000.
I personally think that the staff might have made a mistake or are drumming up publicity for the phone. I don't think it should be that expensive.

I remember my first mobile phone 12 years ago, it was Philips Diga, that was really big!
and the Omnia i8910 is perfect size and weight, it just feel perfect in my hand, real man's phone ir your hand:)

guys, anyone who have battery problems, have you turned off screen vibration??
if not, do this! vibration uses a lot of power and is not necessary at all.

Hi everyone, im from panama and im getting this phone...i work at a cellphone store and the phone is arriving on wednesday or thursday so i cant wait to have the omnia hd on my hand, and btw the price is about $800. my boss told me hes buying it from dubai.

i explained that the battery cannot be weak
many of people who bought this phone dont know that it is a smartphone and has many features like gps and this features should be disabled or they use power.
my idea is to buy this phone and do this :
turn off wifi auto search
disable gps scaning in position method
in networks select gsm only
and close all background programs

Hi all
Has anyone had any issues with getting HD content onto your PC? The MP4 file type seems to not be supported by most software and editing software. I'm wanting to start editing and creating HD movies on my PC but this is difficult as the MP4 format does not seem to be supported by most programs. also Pc studio 7 does not allow me to save HD videos onto my PC, in a HD format.
Does anyone have any ideas how to combat this, or what software supports this file type?

i worked with this phone
just impresive
huge screen with best quality ever seen
superb camera and amazing video recording
impresive headset sound quality
very very fast interface
very good build quality
very powerful battery
and...
to people who said battery is weak :
amoled screens use very low power about 1/3 of that tft does
omap processors use low power too
the newer version of symbian os managed to use low power (compare battery life of n97 and n96)
so if any one has problem with battery life should know that this is a smartphone and programs may run in background and they use power or somthing like auto search for wifi and gps
