They r jus trying to fool you so that time period for returning the phone ends....
Jus go with ur mom or gf and than shout at them when there are lot of people around,then they will probably change it and if it doesnt work then try searching for coustomer rights law and see what can happen...
Im not any nokia fanboy but thats why i say nokia is best for costomer support....n 1 thing more orange people are damn loosers,ill never buy nything from them...

stefan, 23 May 2009When i was buying that phone-I'm 100% sure- seller said to ... morein this case I think you can simply sell it on ebay, as you said, and they are going now for something like £500...
regarding the cheating sellers on ebay:
1. always check their feedback before buying;
2. if you bought a faulty phone, and the seller denies this and don't want to refund you, you can always open a dispute with ebay/paypal and you will get your money back! I have some experience with this and everything was solved though it took like 4-5 weeks:)
3. if you will be selling your phone on ebay, don't forget to set buyer requirements in your ebay account!
block buyers who, for example (copy and paste from my ebay account, what I chosed to block):
Don't have a PayPal account
Have received 2 Unpaid Item strike(s) within 12 Month(s).
Are registered in countries to which I don't post
Have 4 Breach of Policy report(s) within 6 Month(s).
Have a feedback score of -1 or lower.

seiously man.this im buyin an innov8 but just becoz it will take a year for this phone to reach my country with a reasonable price tag.but other than that this is the best phone in the world.hands down.no question about it.i salute the lucky bastards who r gettin it.good luck with it

Don't be so upset on Orange; one thing is the people working in shops, another is the network. For example I have contracts with 4 different companies simultaneously. Orange is the most balanced price/quality company. Vodafone is the worst giving you the most unpleasant suprises, not to mention they are the most expensive ones. I have this 4 contracts for more than 10 years so I think I know what I mean.

Hehe this is my 2nd phone in 2 weeks.Before this one i got blackberry with loose screen from e-bay(guy was trying to bullsh-t me that phone was ok when he was sending it to me)..I just don't have luck :-(

tim, 22 May 2009(i've been to hell & back)...Have managed to get mine retur... moreyou are lucky.i was there yesterday,70 years old woman was before me in the que with blackberry phone in hand.1 hour was time till i get anyones attention :-) then 30min. of arguing with supervisor.they didn't take that crap back :-( i have only two options ebay or keep it.i'm strongly advising anyone to not buy through orange!!!!!! don't waste your time/money on this phone..any other and cheaper phone can give you same as this overpriced junk blocked buy orange....please don't fool yourself that updates will come....apple didn't put 1 proper update in 1 year and samsung will be probably same.
