Enraged, 22 May 2009why have they removed the fm transmitter????????????? i am ... moreI’m angry too and pretty dismay,they have deprived one of the necessity features of this phone,yet the phone is costly.
To : Anonymous(wYG1),yes I'm needed and it's essential to me travelling overseas and rental a car,do you expect me to carry a chunk of CDs in my luggage,you see the point with FM transmitter enabled,i can play all my favorite songs through the phone to the car audio,don't you think it's pretty much convenient rather than carrying CDs.
The only hope is will Samsung consider putting back this feature with future firmware upgrading,let's wait & see,else the only solution is get other phones with FM transmitter.i.e N97 or LG Arena.

OmniaHD has FM with RDS, it can record FM station, and listen to them.

(i've been to hell & back)...Have managed to get mine returned & am getting my full refund...my nightmare is over :)
All i can say to those of u who are going to get this phone, to truly enjoy what this device is capable of Do Not Get it on ORANGE...

Everyone on here seems very technical and I'm not at all so forgive me if these questions are somewhat amatuer. Does no FM transmitter mean the phone can't have FM radio or is the transmitter not related to radio? Also, I know a lot of people seem to be compaining about audio quality in the videos, is this something a firmware/software update can fix? Finally, what counts as a 3rd party app people can't install because of orange? Will thing like movies downloaded from samsung's store still work?

Symbian,Android,Mac are not good for this purpose.That's only my opinion.

You must not know to multitask with WM. If you call something slow, it must be the internet browser program, or when you are browsing high quality pictures with previews. Then again the current iPhone doesn't take 5 Megapixel but 2 Megapixel pictures only compared to the Omnia i900. Good luck with 8 Megapixels pictures. It also depends where you put those picture files (e.g. speed of you micro sdhc.
