I found nothing wrong. i love it pretty much! will be using it for a long time. and im not into high end products, such as now has dual core and such. captivate just fill my needs and top it off with some great toppings.

zeta, 15 Mar 2011I am just about to get this phone and I dont know if i have... moreThey only difference betwen the two version is that the Captivate uses a 1gh cortex processor and the Vibrant uses a 1gh samsung processor( I think it's a samsung processr, but I know the different processors is the major difference between the phones aside from how they look). On one site they said that because of the different processors the Camera reacts differently between the two phoones, The vibrant actually seems to take sharper pictures and comes with a copy of Avatar already installed. I just bought the Captivate as I dont really care about Avatar or a super super sharp image from a phones camera and I found it for $340 Cnd. on Ebay

Does anybody knows about setting ring tone with some your music files (big one obo 3.5 MB)? I had before also smart phone from Samsung and I could not set bigger file to be my ring tone than 300kb. Thanks for anybodies answer.

This is one of the best phones that I have used. I was always into Nokia or Sony Ericsson, but so far this has given me the best experience. I have also compared this with HTC desire and other similar Android models, but this one has surpassed all in terms of looks, design and performance. I give it a 5 star.

this phone is the bomb...my son and i feel this is the best phone we've ever had to date...you must switch to att and get this phone...the data plan is only $15 or you can get the $25 plan...i give this phone 5 stars...

traded my SE vivaz for this.
one bad thing is the downgrade in camera quality, i miss the 8 mp of vivaz. this phone does have its pluses though. battery last longer than all my other phones in past, about 2.5-3 days of heavy using. screen is very good, even in sunlight. speakers r great, especially since i love to watch movies on my phone. no delay whatsoever. it has a lot of features. i will say that it is weird using such a large phone as compared to vivaz. definitely not for using 1 hand, especially when driving. one thing i hope someone can help me with:
i bought this on ebay so i dont use ATT data plan. is there any way i can download free android apps without registering with google for gmail account?
any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
oh, there is one problem ive noticed. whenever i press the back arrow at bottom, sometimes phone interprets it as me pressing the search icon (magnifying glass) next to it. it lights up and it gets annoying sometimes.

I got this for a while now. Normal Batry life 2- 2/half days b4 its dead. i bought it becoz design look cool.i use it for gaming,music and video for now. I dint mess wit the gps or wap internet yet bcoz this is not a cheap phone, and using money again to use the fuction huh.. Yup this phone doesnt have radio and wat i wanna know is does using the the free dwnlod radio app eats your credit money??

I already installed froyo.
It works very well, except for a issue in the browser when try to zoom out the page using fingers. I takes more time to do it than eclair.
