When i updated my status on my facebook account through my galaxy S facebook for android application ... It shows status updated by 'via mobile' instead of 'via android'.. plzz help mee .. !

I WANT TO UPGRADE GINGERBREAD, SO I HAVE DOWNLOAD NEW FIRMWARE
I9000DDJV6 FROM samfirmware.com. IN this firmware i found following files:
1.boot-BIN FILE
2.cache.rfs - RFS FILE
3.factoryfs.rfs - RFS FILE
4.modem - BIN FILE
5.param.lfs - LFS FILE
6.Sbl - BIN FILE
7.zImage - FILE
when i open odin, i don't know which file is using for
BOOTLOADER,PDA,PHONE & CSC.
PLZ HELP ME TO COMPLETE THIS PROCEDURE.

last month my galaxy s had software problem an i send it to samsung (uk) to repair it and when i got it back they give 16gb samsung galaxy s instead of 8gb.

..the important thing you must know before flashing is your device must have the 3 combo method..enabled.. if you want to install custom rom you must be on gingerbread because most of custom rom today is based on gingerbread. i already post the guide below.

This is not normal. when did you bought it. if it is underwarranty approach samsung customer care as they might check for motherboard flaws. Mine they said motherboard was at fault and it was getting heating up they changed motherboard and I did not accept the service as this is the manufacturers fault then they replaced me with new one for this you have to approach with in four days after puschase.
Also what is your GB is it 2.2. or 2.3.3, Mine they replaced with 2.3.3 and battery back up is ok but not that good. there are lcky guys whose battey is lasting for more than two days.

@ blackmamba30: may i ask you of something..?..build number of mine is FROYO.XWJPA, the kernel version is 2.6.32.9 root@SE-S608 #1, baseband version is I9000XXJPK,firmware version is 2.2, how is that, all of that i have mentioned is ok or not?..i am new to my phone and i dont have any idea about these..am hoping for your favorable response with this matter..thanks a lot..:)..

Hi everyone in cyberspace.Have my i9000 a week and the battery lasts 12 hours,and then i hardly use the phone.Is this normal? Maybe something wrong with battery?

AnonD-18489, 27 Aug 2011Can any help me out..how can i install GALNET MIUI on my GA... morefirst you must be on stock gingerbread rom and your phone must be rooted so that it will have cwm(i assume you know how to root your phone if not now go to xda forum search how to),,
1.)download the latest rom of galnetmiui..http://www.galnetmiui.co.uk/content/forum/index.php?topic=1330.0
check your version..
2.)put the dowloaded files in internal sd..
3.)now reboot phone enter recovery mode(volume up + home button then power) do a factory reset(wipe data,cache and dalvik cache in advaced options)
4.)after that choose install zip from sd card choose the one that you downloaded in galnet miui website)click install,,
after finish installing reboot phone
(but make sure you have 3 combo method so that it something bad happen during installation you are safe to go back)
3 combo method = recovery and download mode
(download mode =hold press vol down + home then power)
recovery mode =hold press vol up +home then power)

When i am opening my Gmail from Email the Inbox is showing me the mail from the yr 2009 rather the latest of 2011.
